Thread: September 2021 Loaders - Sassies

    Thanks all for the support, Sassies! I'm doing well, starting P2D3 at 3.5lb down. I made a mistake this morning though and gave myself a double dose of HCG. The syringe I used was marked differently and I just wasn't thinking. I'll take a skip day tomorrow (I planned to take one in about 7 days based on my past experience) and I think it should be okay, maybe I'll expect a bit more hunger. It's still so early in my round that I don't think it'll cause too much trouble and there's nothing I can do about it now, so just staying on track and positive.

    Thanks for all the chocolate recommendations! I'm in Australia - we do have Alter Eco and it looks like I could get Lily's online. But, as suggested, I'm trying not to think about that now. I am enjoying my apples and I'm going to add strawberries tomorrow (it's slightly off-season here so they've been difficult to find).

    mrsstrong - There's a speciality chocolate I love that's 50/50 dark and milk and it's just divine, but my friend did put me onto a 75% dark that will be just as good after my round (it was a little too bitter when I tried it, but I think that's just because I'd been eating so much sugar).

    I admire everyone who can eat 85%, I haven't yet found a brand that's palatable for me. But I'll give it a go after this round if/when I add chocolate back in... perhaps I'll have a newfound love for it.

    P2D4, down another 2lb for a total of 5.5 so far. I added in the second fruit yesterday and that, plus my mistake with dosing, hasn't seen to done any harm at this point. I felt a bit hungry yesterday throughout the day, but when it came to eating meals, I did have to concentrate to get through it all.

    Glad it hasn't affected you! I used to skip one of the fruits and the grissini but found out too that they did not harm my losses so decided to enjoy them!

    P4 W2 starts today. Weighing in @150. There are definitely foods that make my weight jump to 151 or above even, but it still seems to come down naturally when I avoid those foods. I wonder if this will become less over time if I keep eating them off and on or if this will remain an issue. Does anyone have experience with this? It's OK I guess, though I'd like for things to be less fluctuating if possible. This week I think I am going to try and figure out what exactly causes it by adding only one of the suspected foods for a couple of days at a time and see. Don't want to blame an innocent food! Ha!

    All and all though, the baseline is stable so I am very happy. I did not go down to 150 with HCG in the past. Reached 160 (from 240) so I have hope that it will be easier to remain here this time. Previously, I dropped the last 10 with keto but it never stuck. My body really preferred stabilizing where HCG had left me.

    I am also very happy that I am not counting calories, nor tracking my food, my carbs especially. I eat pretty low carb naturally but don't avoid them and it so darn freeing! I am so happy to have reached this place. Haven't had any potato or rice yet, and eating bread is not really part of my consciousness anymore LOL, so it really is small amounts of carbs like plantain chips, GF crispbread, fruit, dark chocolate, wine.

    Last time I noticed that as long as I don't eat too many carbs in one meal, the carb monster stayed asleep, even when eating some pie and ice cream. It just had to be a small amount and part of an occasional meal. I also plan on simply enjoying treats on occasions like birthdays as I did before. I simply don't weigh the next day, eat clean for a day or two, and lo and behold the weight is normal! Seriously, this was a game-changer for me. Why tease myself when I know the weight could be up because I ate differently for one night? Just wait, eat clean, and trust your body.

    OK I am rambling this morning! Hope you all have a good Sunday. We desperately need new blinds here so I am going to Ikea. I just need cheap and easy right now because I want to spend my money on reupholstering an antique chair and the first quote came in at $1600 without the fabric. Yowza! Getting a few more quotes but it's not going to be that much different I assume.

    Oh heyÖ.

    Well, I donít need to give a story but Iím back. Ordered from diet doc and itís at the local UPS office and Iíll pick it up tomorrow and start. I feel like I have been loading for two weeks.

    I keep veering off course after P3 and itís like once I give in I give up. Not healthy.

    So I load tomorrow and join you ladies again.

    Got two 6000iu vials as they were out of the 5000iu. Itís highway robbery these days but this is the only way I can lose it and I adhere to the strict protocol. I need the structure.

    P2d17, 572 cals yesterday. I'm changing up a bit: having my coffee then an hour or so later, will have my eggs. (I usually eat right after I get up.)
