Good Morning Sassy Ladies! You all have such good advice, I appreciate it, and I think everyone realizes everyone comes from their own perspectives and needs to make their own decisions on where to go, how to proceed. Thanks for that, no one here seems to be judgemental, I like that. A lot of good advice and advice of things to read. We all have family, friends going thru things. I tell my daughter that all the time, every family has their own problems, health issues, you just never know what people are dealing with--diseases, deaths, disorders, all kinds of things, just need to be kind and try and help one another when possible. So prayers to all who have lost someone recently or missing someone, be it human or pets--my dog care person just Tuesday lost one of her dog babies (well, one she has had for 11 1/2 years, and she is devastated, so hugs to those people too) life is hard sometimes--so worrying about losing a few lbs seems kinda trivial in the grand scheme of things doesn't it. BUT as hard as we work at it, it IS a big deal to us! So, on a lighter note (hopefully, lighter note) I did drop exactly 1 lb this morning, down to 153.4. Getting closer to goal. Still uncertain on what to do. Will decide later. But More settled in my mind. May do a short, irregular planned interruption (since not the requisite injections under my belt by that weekend) we'll see. Supposed to rain here today, but it looks beautiful outside, It'll have to cloud up a lot for that to happen. Have a great Friday everyone, have some fun, make that happen! We need some happy in our lives!

I don't think I have ever gone up and down so much as this P3. Up just one pound so I am not worried but I used to move up and down a few ounces unless I ate something I don't tolerate so this is definitely new to me.

I bought the Costo Keto bars. OMG so good!!! They do have coconut oil in them though so maybe that caused the jump (same as plantain chips are made with coconut oil and could have caused my previous jumps as well). It is extremely difficult to avoid coconut anything these days when looking for low carb, grain-free, etc. type foods. Wow. But i guess as long as I give my body time to go back down it's all good.

Yay, Dubbles! Great loss and getting so close!!! Whatever you decide, it will be what you do I know that sounds weird, haha, but it helps me make decisions. It may be right; it may be wrong, but it doesn't matter. It will just be and then you go from there. You can also take your time to decide and sometimes a decision is made for you. You may get to 150 while you are still deciding LOL

Keep the sass going, ladies and gents!

I know it's not protocol but for me, I just feel so lousy if I go all day without eating.
I wake up so hungry most days that it's hard to imagine not eating till later in the afternoon. I crave my yogurt and often go to bed looking forward to breakfast LOL
I think that if I were unable to bring the weight down I would do a high protein day and have a 10 am till 2 or 4 pm eating window. I much prefer eating the first part of the day and not eating after 4 or so. But so far so good and it has not been needed for me either.

Iím familiar with the part of the protocol you quoted but my understanding that is if you are doing a round and reached your goal weight, then you raise calories to continue out the minimum number of recommended days to complete the round. How many ďreshapingĒ rounds have you done and did you feel like they worked well for you?

Strong- that is a beautiful story about your Dad. Thank you for sharing. Thank you for your prayers. You are right, we are supposed to outlive our kids. When my grandma lost her first son, he was only 28 years old, that was terribly hard. You never get over it. I am going to stay with my grandma for a couple of days starting Sunday so I will know more about where she is at then.

I donít know whatís the deal with me and these long stalls but itís happened before so not totally unusual. Frustrating for sure though. I donít think itís food. Iím eating the same stuff I was eating when I was losing. Iím at same weight this morning again. Ugh!
JGD, I have never heard of a reshaping round either. I understand reshaping to happen in P3 and beyond as the body adjusts and moves remaining fat around, but not during P2. I only know about the raising the calories part when someone needs to get to at least 23 days to finish a proper round but has reached goal.

So frustrating about the stall, I am sure! Be kind to yourself and I hope the time with your grandmother is comforting.

JGD, I don't know how I missed your post yesterday about your Uncle, I am so very sorry!! And I will pray for your grandmother!! I just can't imagine the pain one must go through losing their children! I am sure you will be a light in her life going there to stay with her for a couple of days!! Hugs to you!!

Gz, intersting about your reshaping round!! I am hoping to reshape during this P3 as my lower belly (which was once flat) has this buldge that just wants to hang around!! It has definately worn out its welcome and it is time to GO!! Best of luck with your round, you start today? Or wait, maybe tomorrow?? If I go back to read I lose everything and I just don't have the time right now but if I recall, you are starting this weekend.. have fun loading!!

Dubbs.. you will get it all figured out!! Seems like your round is going well as far as losing goes! I am happy for you!

Mrsstrong, nice loss girl!! I think it's just the way it goes in P3, although if I remember correctly, you were pretty stable and stayed the same weight during your last P3, or was that your PI?? Hard to keep it all straight. As for me, I seem to bounce around during P3, so far during this one, I have not gone over that dreaded 2# mark, thank goodness.. but I have plans tonight so hopefully that won't change tomorrow!!

As for me, I am up .6#'s today. .5's above my LIW. Tonight I have plans to go to a winery in town with 3 friends and listen to live music and have a couple glasses of vino. I will stick with a dry red. They also have a food truck that we will be eating from called Baja Dogs..yep..hot dogs. Apparently all beef.. we shall see how I do with that. Whatever I eat, it will be without a bun for sure!! Wouldn't be what I would have picked but it is what it is.

Have to go get myself ready for the day. Have an appointment at 10:00. Check back later. Happy Friday everyone!

Another option is Dr Atkins "fat fast": mostly fat + a small amount of protein, for no more than 3 days. You eat four tiny fatty meals of about 200 calories each. It works better than a Steak Day for me, because I don't have to fast all day.

    Reshaping Round

All, check out this old post for more info:
P4 Reshaping Round (if needed) from my book The HCG Diet Book of Secrets

I have no idea why it's labeled "P4 Reshaping", I followed this for P1/P2 then did regular P3/P4.

Hello Sassy friends and Happy Friday!

I got up yesterday at 5:30 in the morning for work and did not get back till 9 oíclock at night. I am so tired today! So just a quick one for me!

Mrs. Strong: Wow I am just officially stopped! But I think itís so fabulous that it falls right back down without doing a correction day. Are you still in P3? Where are you exactly in your round? Because sometimes things that bother me in P3 did not bother me P4. Leez, what do you think of these 2 pound gains that then fall off naturally the next day? Do you think you still have the UTI/yeast infection? That can really play around with water retention and could be the cause if you think you still have one, maybe time to get checked again? Hope that you are feeling completely 100% soon and this swing stops!

Dubbles: glad you lost another .6! I know itís so tough not to be tempted and you were doing great work.

JustGD: So sorry about losing your uncle! And sending you great wishes and thoughts and prayers about your grandmother. Older people can be very resilient. I hope that is the case with her. I also experienced long stalls. But they say if you have stalls it makes you more stable in P3 and P4 hereís to hoping!

GZ: I will definitely look at your reshaping link. I have found it the smaller doses that I am definitely reshaping too.

Daughter update: Big thanks to Leez our resident superhero! Daughter went up slightly in her dose and is now having no hunger and feels much better. She knows that since she only went up slightly if she has those feelings again in a few days she may need to do another small increase.

AFM: I lost another pound yesterday and .2 pounds today so I am really close to my higher goal of 125 pounds. So today is Day 20 I think?

    Leez
    I have 2 questions:
    1. I have never done a short round. My average round is 39 to 42 days. I have sometimes had trouble stabilizing. What length of round do you think would give me the most stabilization? I am afraid to do a short 23 day round.

    2. If ultimately I would like to stay between 124 and 127 at the highest, do you think it be better to stay on and lose that addition pound? Is there such a thing really as having a ďcushionĒ going into P3? I mean, losing an additional pound so that I have a larger window to be comfortable in?

Hope everyone has a fun Labor Day weekend and keeps to our goals!
    Fondly,
    RK

No weigh in today Had to set up in 99 degree heat. In middle of setting up got call that my husband's brother passed away at urgent care facility in Houston this morning, Second family death in a few days. We are heartbroken, His brother was sole provider for his 94 year old mother who lives with him, She is taking it well. We cancelled next weeks show and will return to Houston on Tuesday. Keep our family in prayer.

Sounds like u r all doing well.

If you know why you gained (usually an identified inflammation trigger), and that it generally drops after that, then you can avoid doing a steak day and just wait for the scale to drop.

If you don't know why, then its always better to just go ahead with a steak day.

    1. You will get the same stabilization from a 30 dose round as a 40 dose one.

    2. You can lose as much as you like up to your 40th dose. Whether that becomes a cushion or not is totally up to your body. You really can't control it long term. You have to trust that while eating to your hunger/satisfaction levels that your body will find its best weight.

Happy Saturday, all! It's the first day of P2 for me. Green tea (instead of coffee with HWC), everything high fat is either eaten or frozen. Today's menu loaded into FatSecret, now to stick to it!
