    Happy Saturday Sassy Ladies!

mrsstrong, going to def check out the Costco Keto ice cream, for P3, is it p3 friendly? I always look for plantain chips that do not have coconut oil splayed all over the pkg, but the ones in stores are all mostly cooked in coconut oil, seems to me. And the ones from Amazon, the ones Leez recommended are not as thick as those you get in the store which I prefer. Need to order more of those today, for sure. And I definitely agree with what you said to Phoebe, on P3 I wake up eager for my breakfast, no way could I do a steak day and wait until dinner to eat. Much prefer to wait it out and try to get weight to go down naturally over a couple of days. Interestingly while on HCG this round, I haven't been craving my daily sausage/protein breakfast every morning, sorta surprised.

GZ, I did go back and reread about the reshaping in Pounds and Inches, I specifically remember reading about the lady with unnatural fat stores in lower half of body the first time I read Dr. S's manuscript in 2010 (actually know someone who might benefit from HCG'S miracle fat targeting properties, but no way would I every suggest to anyone). But never really called it a reshaping round. Interesting. Good luck to you on your round. Have a good time loading. I, too, am a big believer in green tea on HCG!

Phoebe, hope you enjoyed your winery with friends last night. Not everyone loves hot dogs, but I actually love the Costco All Beef Hot Dogs, but I want the bun too! Hope puppy dogs are doing well too! Hope the evening didn't result in too big an uptick, if it did, it will go down soon, I'm sure--we will have those kinds of life events, social events always, and we want to enjoy them. Why shouldn't we.

JustGD, Wonderful your spending a few days with your grandmother, unfortunately many forget about being with their grans and that's so sad. It can mean so much to older people. My oldest grandson just got a new job (hasn't even started yet) will be moving to Atlanta where his Dad's parent's live, and will be seeing them regularly, I hope. They are young enough to still be fun, to still enjoy, and I'm glad for him--not at all jealous that he'll see more of them than us. Just glad they will be there to help him in transition period to a big city. Found out a few minutes ago the grandfather just tested postive for Covid and he HAS been vaxed and they are extremely diligent mask wearers so am somewhat surprised, they live in a highend, gated highrise in Atlanta, this variant must be very contagious. Everyone be careful! Hope you are losing a bit this weekend, not in a stall still?

rk, glad Leez was able to help daughter with her dose and hunger is now gone. The beauty of hcg. Congratulation on basically reaching your goal! Good for you! Woohoo!

Rose, So, So Sorry about your Brother-in-law's sudden death. Oh my, too much heartache for your family right now. For certain. Your family is in our prayers. So sorry. Keep hydrated in all that heat, take care of yourself.

AFM: 153.8 this a.m., so uptick of .4. Not surprised. Yesterdays 1 lb loss was more surprising, typically lose maybe 1/2 to .6 a day, rather than a lb, so the up tick takes me back to that. And I have a cold or something going on now too. Don't think Covoid, because not really aches and pains, no fever, just cough and scratchy throat. Hubbs had it last week. Hope everyone has a good Saturday. Check in later!

Rose, oh no. I am so so sorry. Your family is in my prayer. What difficult times.

Karen, I was more stable around the same weight last time. Just up and down within a pound or so, never two. This time the weight is going up and down a lot, sometimes by over two pounds, but it seems to be stable in its own way regardless. It has been coming down on its own consistently. I always gained a little during both my PI’s an I actually think it could be related to something I ate, like plantain chips since they are made with coconut oil. It seems that anything coconut is a no for me these days.
Sounds like you are doing great and I hope last night was fun!

RK, what officially stopped you? The gains and losses?
Yes, in P3. Week 3 starts tomorrow. I think the UTI is gone but the yeast infection is not yet. Coming and going. Need to get Monistat still.
I still am not sure why the jumps though I think it is the coconut oil. I just haven’t honed in on it yet. Have a BBQ tomorrow and will add the plantain chips only and see what happens.
Great losses for you! Sounds like you are doing really well! Glad your daughter is back on track too!
What Leez says about your second question is so true! You have to eat well and your body will find its way. It’s is a big learning journey to trust our body when we treat it well!

Gz, hope your P2 goes well! That first week can be so sweet and encouraging!

Dubbles, yes, it is P3 compliant! Chocolate outer layer and inner salted caramel. https://www.tasteofhome.com/article/...ce-cream-bars/ So many flavors on the Keto website OMG
Hope your cold is short-lived! Feel better.

AFM, 149 this morning. Happy to see my body wanting to go back to that. It has not gone below which is fine so it may be my new set point. Fingers crossed.

Well, have a great weekend everyone! I am busy tomorrow so I probably won’t be able to check in.

Rose- so sorry to hear about your brother in law. Prayers for your family.

Strong- I remember your last round, you were rock steady in P3, so sorry to hear you are bouncing a bit this round. I seem to always bounce around a lot in P3.

RK and Phoebes- thanks for the hugs, thoughts and prayers. I leave tomorrow for my grandmas so looking forward to spending some quality time with her.

Dubbs- you so right about spending time with our elders. They appreciate it soooo much. I know I have been guilty of not spending enough time with mine. And my kids, I try to get them to understand how lucky they are to have a great grand mother and how precious this time is, but they donít understand and I fear wonít understand until sheís gone.

Iím at same weight today so oh well, it is what it is at this point. I still havenít decided on when my last injection day will be. I was thinking Tuesday, but that puts me going into P3 over the weekend which sounds great, but in reality, Iím better off starting P3 on a Monday because Iíll be able to prepare and plan better. Weekends are crazy for us schedule wise with all 3 of our kids having soccer games on the weekends and we are typically all over the place. So anyway, Iím debating on whether to keep injecting until Friday so that my first official P3 day would be that Monday. This ďshortĒ round is turning into a not so short round after all. Lol!

On another topic, I would LOVE to hear from everyone what their favorite super clean P3 meals are for the first few days of P3. Also, snack ideasÖI love nuts and nut butters but try not to eat them the first week of P3Öso first fews days of P3 snack ideas would be much appreciated as well. Iíll start by saying my first breakfast is always bacon, eggs, avocado and coffee with heavy cream. Lunch is usually tuna salad and dinner usually a good steak with asparagus, mushrooms and sometimes a small salad.

I do a ramp-up of calories in P3, so the first week, I eat P2-ish but use whole eggs instead of whites, HWC in my first coffee of the day, and real dressing on my salad. The next week, I'll add bacon a couple of days, use butter with my eggs, and a steak or salmon for dinner. Third week, I add cheese and more HWC. And Chocolate!

Yeah, hopefully, it will even out and it seems to be.

My first meals are just eggs, bacon, avocado, yogurt, salads, vegetables, meats, etc. all full fat and to satiation. I think I added some things too soon this time, not sure. I had plantain chips, hazelnuts, and wine right away because of a BBQ I usually wait it out till week two at least with those foods.

JGD, My main focus on first week of P3 is mostly the addition of fats, I love to be able to add fats in salad dressings, or the addition of olive oils to marinades on grilled meats or on roasted veggies with a sprinkling of parm cheese , and a tablespoon or two or heavy cream in my protein shakes to make them more creamy, and of course, more fatty proteins, like sausage and bacon. I'm not a huge egg eater, or I would have sausage and egg, but I really don't like eggs unless fried till crisp--which is how I like my sausage, too. So absolutely no nuts, not much in the way of cheese or crazy fruits added, with the exception of pineapple. I seem to be able to add small amounts of fresh pineapple and have as a snack maybe 5 or 6 chunks for a snack, and then Lily's no sugar chocolate chips with coffee as a snack. I found I can have the tuna with Duke's mayo, no sugar added relish, onion, celery, garlic salt, pepper mixed real well--made in big portions (so have plenty for a few days) on plantain chips or on lettuce as salad, and absolutely no gain with it. Have a meal or as a quick snack. I think you are able to eat those as well. This is not a new tip to you all I know, but I kinda indulge in purchasing cute little small bowls I see because I find having smaller dishes limits my portion sizes and makes me feel like I'm eating a full portion, kwim? 5 chunks of pineapple in one a small polka dotted glass bowl feels a little indulgent and fun, makes me feel good, just does. We should do things like that for ourself. Better than just eating out of a plastic Kroger container. Works for me anyway. Oh, and another favorite snack is my sugar free peanut butter and celery. But I'll be truthful, I'm not totally sold on this Jif sugar free peanut butter. It basically has no taste. I'm going to look for something else. I remember in times past just going for regular peanut butter, but I think it may've caused me to gain, it has low carb, but I think sugar. Any ideas? Good luck JGD! oH, AND for a fast food meal, the Summer Strawberry Salad Chicken Salad at Wendy's without croutons or those nuts added is delicious, but I like the ranch dressing instead of the vinegarette or my own dressing. It is about 500 calories that way, but that's ok on P3, you want those calories on p3 and it is filling. Delicious.

Good morning Sassy Ladies, and If gents out there, hi to you, too!

It's a rainy Sunday morning, but that's ok, has to rain sometimes.

Strong, think your barbeque is today, crazy raining here , hope not there today? Will that effect your plans today? Hope not. Hope you have a great time anyway. You're far from Kentucky, so doubtful you have same weather. Hope your day is fun regardless.
149 is a BEAUTIFUL #. I would love for my body to go to that number and be a set point . Fingers crossed it will be your set point! Good for you! Have fun today!

Rose, hope you and your family are coping as well as to be expected. Lots going on, I know. Prayers and hugs are being sent your way from hcg friends. 2.6 under ldw is very good. Keep it up.

AFM: Down to 153.2 today so down .6 this morning. Still no decision made on what I'm doing this week. As you guys said, gets easier each day. The vial of hcg I have is not for a long round, I think for a 28 day round? Whatever, it would not last for a long round--I can tell by looking at it. I don't think it would last 2 more weeks to be truthful. Will decide later this week. Was thinking last dose day to be Tuesday, but might not be, decide later.

    Nice loss, Dubs!

No rain is expected here. We'd need to cancel if we couldn't be outside because of Covid and I am glad we have space outside. It's just 4 other adults and my husband and I. Everyone is vaccinated too.

Had an ice cream bar last night and am at 150.4 this morning. Everything else I ate was the same as the day before. Pretty sure it's the coconut oil that makes me jump around. Unless I find plantain chips with palm oil I will need to stop eating them. The ice cream luckily also comes in containers and many flavors contain no coconut oil but they do contain MCT so I will need to test that as well.

    Hi!

I am going to have to read back later. Busy busy here. Yesterday I was not going to weigh yesterday because I ate and drank until 12:30 am.. but I got on that scale anyway and was only up .4. Crazy, tho could have been dehydration. I got 4 mesquito bites that night (that turn into 2 inch welts), one is on my back!! Darn thing must have went right through my shirt!! And all day yesterday kept getting a cramp in my calfs... probably again, dehydration... ate a banana and tried to drink as much water, also had a propel. Today I was up another .4, honestly not as bad as I thought I was gonna be so thankful for that! 1.3#'s above my LIW. Today I have a lot to do and tomorrow will be a BBQ. Will check back later. I hope everyone is doing well with whatever stage you are in. Looking forward to a more quiet week where I can be in more control of my diet. Although my mom turns 88 on Tuesday so I will be celebrating her at some point this week. Will try to be good and get back below LIW, or at least closer to it!!
Phoebe~ a.k.a. Karen (Phoebe was a nickname I grew up with that my late dad used to always call me)
