Dubbles, I think that if you have it in you and it sounds like you do, go for it! A 23 day round is the shortest recommended. You can then stop and not worry about stabilizing or blame the short round for anything that could pop up in P3 & P4. Our minds are so tricky. If you were to stop now and not stabilize because of it being too short of a round, your mind will tell you to give in and just eat because "all is lost anyway." Before you know it, you need a long round to get it all off again. Well, my mind would do this to me anyway. You are so close to your goal! I know, a number, more serious things in the world, etc. but it's OK to have a goal and want to get there. One of my main struggles with people at social gatherings is when they say "what is one treat/cheat etc. going to do?" Well, it does a lot for me potentially. It means the difference between maintaining or starting on that awful roller coaster of not being able to control myself potentially. I see this the same way. What is one more pound? To me, it is the difference between getting where I wanted to go or telling myself that a few pounds more or less won't matter and then I eat accordingly. And one morning I am way up from where I want to be. The determination of getting where I want to be is my safety blanket. It gives me faith in myself.
Anyway, I support you either way but gosh, if you feel like you have it in you, do it!
I hope you feel better soon! As you know, the weight will come off when you feel better.
AFM, I didn't weigh myself this morning. Had a great BBQ yesterday and had a mojito, a couple of glasses of rosé, and finished the plantain chips. I am probably up and it will most likely come down over the next couple of days. We have one more guest coming for dinner this week and then I think the backyard BBQ season will close. We'll see. I have not had our neighbors over this year and there are some new neighbors as well so maybe we'll throw a last BBQ next weekend. I so enjoy hosting!
Have a good Labor Day everyone!
