Star, me too! I have no clue about injections or PI's, really. Hopefully, Leez will be able to chime in again soon.

Welcome back, RK. {{{HUGS}}} I'm sorry your thyroid threw you off so much. Ugh. You've got this tho!

    R1P1 VLCD8

Still up 1/2 pound. I can tell I'm retaining water because my rings (which didn't fit before I started) are feeling tight again. Hopefully, it'll all whoosh tomorrow!

L: tomato soup (cottage cheese and tomato, blended), grissini
    D: chicken, celery, orange
    S: apple, grissini

Thank you both for responding. RK that thyroid issue sounds frustrating as hell but from what I know from hcg it can help heal those issues. I don't have thyroid issues but remember grammy was an expert. I know you will drop it quickly doing this!

I just bit the bullet and ordered the 6000iu (no idea what the difference is) and the mic/lipo/b12 injections as well. Go big or go home and it's basically Monopoly money at this point. So tomorrow is my last injection and I will cruise into my PI for about a week and once I get back from Palm Desert I will refocus.

My older son starts college next Monday and will still live at home which is one of the reasons we bought a bigger home. I also decided to remodel his bathroom tub/shower because why not add to the madness. Got the quote and just need dates. I want to get it done while B is at treatment so it's done by the time he is back. The master shower upstairs is incredible and looks like something out of a magazine. It is my haven but the two downstairs ones are from the 60s. Home prices here are like a mini-Cali so you can pay a fortune for a home and are lucky to get it and then have to still do some updating. Good times.

I forgot to mention that I decided to do the Zerona Laser Therapy and have one more treatment left. It's hard to tell if it is working or if it's the hcg but I was so uncomfortable in the 170s and my eating was out of control that I felt like it was not working. I had a session last Thursday and they do a light lymphatic massage during the treatment. The guy who does it also recognized my stress and he does guided meditations with me while I am under the lights and I would pay just for that because he is so incredible and is Buddhist and just has a calming presence. There are a lot of benefits to the laser therapy aside from weight loss like smoother skin, tightening skin and lower cholesterol (go figure). It wasn't cheap but my friend who is an ER Physician recommended it when I was talking about cool sculpting etc and said it's the only one she recommends to her patients. She also did it and her bum looks fabulous, lol.

I am rambling. I hope you all wake up to great losses and thank you for being here!

Others on this forum order injectable from overseas at much more reasonable prices. I switched to hhcg because I became too sensitive to the injectable dosages. Also my regular diet is keto so I have very little inflammation / water weight to lose. I have used drops (inconvenient) and 1x per day tablets (more convenient), but in my most recent round, I used the nasal spray. That is super convenient because you don't have to wait to eat or drink. It doesn't go through your digestive system so a smaller dose is more effective. I got 25 days from a bottle labeled for 30 days, so I used tablets for the last few days of my round.

    Good Morning,

Micha regarding cottage cheese I think it has a lot of sodium in it and could be causing the tight rings. I am usually very POP to original protocol, I find it is easier for me to have fewer choices ha ha. But I love cottage cheese, it is so versatile.

Starbucks good luck with your round and remodeling.

GZ9 thanks for the update on the nasal spray. I may try that next time...I ordered extra pellets so I will have tu use those up first ha ha.

AFM: an ugly P2D1! I have not seen such a high weight but I am here to lose it all! Loading was alot of fun though!

    Have a great day everyone!

    Hope Leez comes back soon!

    Fondly,
    RK

You may want to wait to have the final treatment until you complete P3. During P3, you will get some reshaping and skin tightening. I would want to focus on any remaining problem areas.

That is a great point. I can always add another session or two and could kick myself for doing it with zero plans to eat better for the first four sessions. I was just looking for magic. You would think I would know by now!!!

I had cottage cheese for lunch and just read about the sodium. I was down to 161.4 today and did my last injection before my PI on Friday.

RK, I am always shocked at the numbers after load but just remember that you should see a 5lb drop soon from all of the inflammation etc!

Aw, crud. I had no idea about the sodium in cottage cheese. I'm also questioning my choice of apple. We have ambrosia apples and think there is too much sugar for comfort. Boo. Oh, well. Back to the drawing board! Less cottage cheese and no more ambrosia, lol. At least the scale is moving again!

Okay, this is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night! The nutrition information between a gala apple and an ambrosia apple is almost identical. Is that little bit of fat in an APPLE enough to throw me off???
