@gz9. You may have lost only 8 lbs but you are at a low weight so I think u did great. P3 has always worked great for me. I eat very well but I try not to overdo it. I notice certain things are sooo calorie laden that they will up my weight.

P4 for me is sort of P3 with an occasional extra starch or sugar but not every day (so far). I do love my bacon tho in the morning. Keeps me very satisfied. Good results in p3! You will do great

I've been lurking without posting the past 3 weeks but I have a question about what to do during my planned interruption. I mixed my hcg 22 days ago and planned to freeze it this week while I'm out of town Wed - Sat. I'll pull it from the freezer Saturday night and start back on P2 Monday morning for another 8 - 10 days.
Should I freeze the whole bottle or draw syringes and freeze them?
I definitely am not an expert but I do know you should not freeze the bottle. Fill the syringes and wrap them and you just need to remember to do the 72 hr transition before starting planned interruption

Thanks! I was going to freeze the bottle...
Last injection this morning then P3 Wed - Sun and back on P2 Mon is my plan.

To do an interruption according to the protocol, you need to transition off the HCG for 72 hours staying on P2 diet. (Just like you would at the end of your round). Then the interruption begins, and the minimum length from that point is 4 days. It doesn't sound like you planned enough time, so you may want to consider just staying on the HCG and doing the best you can, or extend the interruption so that you have four P3 days after the 72 hour transition.

I agree with rose, freezing syringes is preferable to freezing the vial.

    Leez, thank you for responding.
Maybe I wasn't clear with how I worded my post but I'll be on P3 for 5 days before starting P2 again next Monday. There's no way I can do this trip on P2, I know myself too well, but P3 will be no problem.

Thanks, Just! I'm so glad to hear it. That's great that you had to adjust down... they last longer that way! I'm excited to try the pellets! Did you notice a difference on the pellets vs. injections? Did you ever do drops?

I am so so happy for Leez' recommendation of Trim Healthy Mama! I finished a short round only down 11 pounds but decided to go slow with the next 20+ and moved on to P3, where I maintained. Then started reading/digesting THM...got all the books/cookbooks. I have only lost another 2+ pounds since starting (i think about a moneht ago?)and pretty much stalled out right now.....but I've never been so motivated. The THM plan is just enjoyable. The recipes have all turned out great. It is a steep learning curve when you start getting into the deep plan tweaks, which I have had to do since I'm dealing with Hashimotos. I haven't felt deprived at all. I think I am losing my lifelong sweet tooth, as the ultra sweet typical dessert fair of our culture isn't appealing any more. So if you're having trouble setting your HCG losses in stone, you might want to try THM too!

Great THM testimony, Kari. Everything you said has also been true for me. Its awesome that you can lose while doing it as well.

@Gigi: sorry, I missed the part where your last injection was several days before you start P3. Sounds like you are all set. May it all go well. Some are able to keep losing during an interruption, but the most likely outcome is that you can eat well and not gain.

Fill your syringes, lay them out on a cookie sheet and freeze overnight. In the morning, put them into ziploc bag and back into the freezer. That will keep them from sticking together when freezing. Then to use them, put them individually into your fridge to thaw a few hours before injecting - do not thaw them all out at once.

Thank you Rose for the encouragement. I always hope for more losses, but w/o water / inflammation to lose, my numbers are always low.

I agree, P3 is great - adding the healthy fats back is always so satisfying.

P4 138.8 Liw 141. Pretty sure my post is repetitive and boring but in P4 I consider that a good thing. Stable at 138.8 no matter what time in morning I weigh as long as it is on empty bladder Mostly P3 but some starch/sugar calories P4 in moderation. No cravings so far

Life slightly upside down but we are adjusting My 94 to mil is permanently residing with us as of Aug 31. I am grateful. Her trusted deceased sons best friend and niece who was taking care of her after my BIL death from covid have really in my opinion taken financial advantage though they did it Legally as they were authorized signers on two of her bank accts We closed both accts before they got down to zero so they can no longer live off her. She had no idea till bankers printed out statements. She had not seen any statements. One banker said it is a form of elder abuse. Lots of stress for all but I am happy they cannot continue and her eyes have been opened. We tried to warn her and protect her a year ago but she was blinded by charm and words. Now she knows The paperwork doesn’t lie. I hope we can make her final years joyful and secure. Her mind is good. Her body in pain from arthritis but she is managing to bathe and dress herself and eat well.
Keep us all in prayer as bil’s best friend going to court on 9:19 to become admin of biks estate. No will but Texas law makes provision for real estate and other items. Oh forgot to mention so-called best friends cousin married my BIL a month before he died so he has conflict of interest. He used my mil’sacct to support new wife who did not get along with my mil. Oyyyyy!!! Like a soap opera here

How wonderful that you can help your MIL at this time. Families can be very complicated.

I love that you are stabilizing in the 130's. I hope you are enjoying feeling "normal" again. That's always my greatest joy at the end of a round.
