I find myself dehydrated pretty often. It helps me if I make my own type of electrolyte drink. I use Stur (stevia sweetened flavored water drops) but you could use any water enhancer that is sugar free (be sure to check the label, many have sugar) and a pinch of NoSalt for potassium (only a pinch.. you have to be careful with this stuff), I also add a little powder vit c, powder magnesium (I've been known to even grind up a magnesium pill) and a good pinch of Sea Salt. Salt is important. I had a very serious cardiac issue a couple of years ago while on Atkins and NOT taking my supps. My new Dr. said to make sure I am using a teaspoon of salt a day on foods.. etc. when you are in ketosis (which you sure are at 500 calories even with fruit) your kidneys dump salt like crazy. If you drink allot of water without supplementing you just flush more water out of your body. It can lead to dehydration. Good luck.. hope this helps.

I am the same way with the scale!!! wait another 10 days and you will get on and off a dozen times. move the scale to another part of the room, get on it.. get off.. tip toe on, move it again. you get the picture! I can't believe it almost every time I get on it! LOL!

I'll bring my own dressing in a little container. Life just loves to throw us curve balls.

Oh and forgot to add that with all the things on my mind I ran out of the house today without taking my injection. I guess I'll be ok?????
wow honey I'm so sorry to hear about your F-I-L. It's going to be a testy weekend for sure. you can do it though!!! just DECIDE you will make it work and it will a little easier. Once you make an absolute decision your mind will help you. I skipped my injection a couple of days ago and was just fine! You will be too I bet. When I am at a restaurant I just ask for limes on the side and I put pepper and lime juice on my salad. I don't know if you would like that but you might try it. Hang in there.. be tough. You've got this.

    Hi all!

Just posting for update and accountability. Oh, I was a cheeky monkey a couple of days ago, gaining back a couple of pounds, today I am stuck at 254 (boo), but knew going in, if I was going to play, I was going to pay. I don't like the price, so have been a good girl for the last couple of days.

My biggest enemy is not the food, it's the desire for that which I cannot eat right now, mainly chocolate! I have been trying to break the "grazing" habit. You know, wandering into the kitchen, not because you're hungry, just because the food is there. I open the fridge and look, then wander over to the cabinets and look...terrible!

Strong am I with the hCG! Gotta keep being strong until new habits form.

I am shooting for the 240's by the end of October, but it's going to require major discipline on my part.

It is so wonderful to see how well everyone is doing. With hCG, you learn to be mindful of your food, at P3, stick with the protocol, add in ssssslllloooowwwwlllllyyy, even though a whole smorgasbord of foods are available, stick with the proteins and veggies, incorporating healthy fats, which will help you feel fuller. Watch carbs like a hawk, even healthy ones can derail your hard work!

    Carpe Diem!

    Llil ~ Fantastic losses!!

Jens ~ sounds like you are doing good!! I've never thought of weighing myself just once or twice a week... I get way to anxious to see if I have any losses!!

As for me, I was down 2# from yesterday!! Have no idea how that happened!! I was again pretty nervous to step on the scale this morning but I was way less bloated yesterday and just ate until I was comfortable. Seems like I am okay with dairy and eggs in P3, I will be trying nuts here soon. Have to go down and take my elderly mom on her errands today.

Today is P3D3 for me, right now I am 1.3# under my LIW.

Have a great day everyone... can't wait to check in later and see everyone's losses!!

** The ticker I have been using would not update this morning so I had to create a new one and now the BMI isn't showing...?? Oh well.
OMG you are totally giving me so much hope for P3!!!! I don't believe I will be able to eat as much but I will sure see. I want some cheese! and I miss eggs very much. I love them poached with a ridiculous amount of butter and Penzey's shallots on them!

So in 9 VLCDays I lost 6-7 loading wt (yeah I gain a lot usually), and -5.5 lbs of real weight. Not bad, but not huge numbers, slow n steady. Hoping for 189 by Saturday! Next goal, 185 then 180. Wish it would pick up a bit, as I hope I don't end up losing only like 13 lbs or something lol.

I'm kinda losing slowish, sSo I was wanting to do a 42- day round, but might just make it 26-28 days. No point in prolonging it, if I can only squeeze out 2 lbs after day 28. I'll decide next week.
You are doing good. When else, how else would we lose this type of weight? LOL! You have lost so much already. I'm inspired!

1st - I didn't think u were going to move to p3 so soon. Did u end early? Or was I just wrong?
What type of foods have you been eating on P3? I'm already starting about it and I have 11 days left!!! LOL! Good Luck on that scale.

I think I'm preparing to transition into the next phase.. I was desperate to keep going before but just today I'm starting to feel like I'm ready to do the next phase for 3-4 weeks before I do one more round before Christmas...

I've been skipping lunch this week.. I have started having a Long Black in the morning (plunger/french press using the bulletproof brand of coffee) and i have absolutely no desire to eat so I've just been having dinner.. it's been great actually.. easier to have less food.. makes it easier for me to not think about food... I've been reading "Weight Loss Apocolypse" and Blogging my journey as well as keeping MyFitnessPal logged with everything as well as logging into my Worksheet... I know it sounds like overkill but it's how I keep my head in the game and keep reminding myself of what is going on here besides the scale..

Llil ~ I got your message on my blog and I streamline my Worksheet for anyone's use and created a Downloadable Document for anyone to use.. I replied to your comment.. not sure if you got it??? but the worksheet is available if you would still like it.. I will add a few other worksheets I am using to log info too if that will help you.. the link is here... http://martinetrinder.com/category/hcg-diet-worksheets/
-a cookie factory? girl you are like superwoman! and good job on your losses.. super sweet *^*

Jenstewie ~ GREAT JOB honey... isnt hCG incredible? I just love it

1st ~ hi there thanks so much for the info.. it really helps me prepare for this unknown "P3"... I'm amazed you could eat all that.. I have had pancreatitus a few times after coming of a 92day Juice Feast so I will need to be careful how fast i increase the fat but I must say your menu sounds yumm! i love blue cheese (cant eat it now tho' - lactose intolerant!)... great job on being under LIW.. good stuff *^*

DaisyHair ~ i agree.. serious voodoo! •^• I have been doing exactly the same as you, last night I was reading about the mitochondria too.. i was watching a youtube and one lady described P2 as the "wet cement" phase and P3 as the time when our bodies use to "set the wet cement" into the new metabolism rate.. as we know this is when the hypothalamus starts to talk to the leptin again regarding all the new levels of hormones in our body due to the reduced amount of fat (atleast i think thats right?).. so yeh! I am formulating a plan now.. my Dr has a specific food program I have to follow which is just like low carb paleo if I had to call it something.. or a low carb Liver Cleansing diet... anyways I dont work well unless I have a plan and some sort of structure for me to frame my day around... Im so glad your here DaisyHair.. I feel encouraged by you xx and this round will end up being 35 days...
WOW! good job on the 2 "teens"... what a good feeling that must be.. well done

CupCakeSoaps ~ great losses girl.. you'll be 180's before you know it.. yayayayayayay!

LynneR ~ are you reading anything related to P2? would that help you at all? what do you do to help motivate yourself? I feel for you when it's really hard.. this protocol is a real mental game and I have to work hard every day just so I can stay in it.. how many rounds have you done?

Julzie ~ oh so sorry about your father-in-law honey.. wow, that's tough... luv your restaurant plan - that's a winner *^*

Girlz ~ nice to hear from you.. i hope your weigh in goes well honey (˚^˚)

Well I'm off now.. keep going strong girls xx
Bubbles I think you might be my twin. You sound allot like me especially with the research and constant work on staying motivated. I write in a journal, constantly look at Youtube and read about hCG. Gotta keep the focus. The eyes on the prize!! I find myself looking at P3 myself the last couple of days. I am unsure for myself that I will ever do a 40 day round. I know this time it's only going to be 31 days.. I would LIKE to do a 40 day but I think if it gets too hard it can back fire.. at least for me and lead to eating crap I should not and negating what loss I would have the last week anyway. I am starting round 2 Thanksgiving day. Perfect time to load, right?! I LOVE the wet cement ****ogy!! That is perfect. I know science is finally starting to get the importance of leptin and it's function. It' amazing. I need to go check out your blog!! and I would love to hear about what foods your Dr. will have you on for P3. I know I will be eating more fat and pretty much probably clean Atkins style (I'm not into the shakes and bars).. Probably a sweet potato here or there and apples.. and grapefruit! Can't wait for citrus season!! I live in the middle of a bunch of citrus groves!

    Good morning!!

Just a quick check in, will catch up with everyone a bit later if I have time. Today I am up .9#, but still under my LIW. I ate the toppings off of pizza last night along with some chicken... I also had nuts yesterday and I ate about 1/2 cup of the chocolate mousse I made. I didn't drink the amount of water yesterday then I typically do, oh, also had a sugar free latte (hazelnut). I should have asked for a breve latte with sugar free hazelnut, but I didn't, so I'm not sure what milk they used... may be the reason for a little gain.. or who knows.... won't be trying that again. I am really considering taking this P3 as just a break and mixing another vial and going another 2 weeks or so. I just don't know though... since I have a weekend away from home on the 7-9th... uggg...decisions, decisions. I just would like to lose a little bit more weight before the holidays and my busy (wrestling) season arrives.

I'll try to check back later. Hope everyone is rockin' it!!

    Good Morning!!!

I am sure now.. absolutely sure now that I will look back on Sept 2016 as the month that was the beginning of the rest of my life. I have no doubt now that I can and will lose all my excess weight eventually on hCG..

Why isn't the hCG cure (because it is the cure for obesity) shouted from the mountain tops? It's truly a miraculous thing.

Today I weighed 218.4. I lost another .8 pounds for a total loss of 19.4 pounds. I am in awe. I am so excited about the future. To be honest in the beginning when I was reading everyone's losses I was sure I would not be one of them. Just too much of a dream.

I have noticed my stomach seems to have shrunk (even though Dr. Simeons says it really does not) something is different because I can't eat, in bulk, half of what I used to. Yesterday for lunch I ate two small chicken tenderloin strips (under 100 grams) and 1 C collard greens (with pepper vinegar YUM!!! I'm a Southern girl) and I was uncomfortably full for an hour. It's strange. The same thing happened last night with my small amount of veal and a baked cinnamon apple.

I will have to learn to stick with smaller quantities and practice only eating until my hunger is gone NOT till I'm necessarily full in P3.

I mixed my 2nd vial yesterday. I'm on the downward hill with this round. Day 20. I'm doing 31 days. Ending early for our CA VACA!.. I'm already thinking about P3 and maintaining. I am taking my scale with me! I REFUSE to gain this weight back.

    Cheers girls!

Well guess what I weigh today? 190.0!!!!!! Lol I was like, could I have one more ounce for 189's? Lol. I've been sticking to 140 ius constsistently and seems to be working. So -1.4 lbs overnight. A total of -6.5 lbs in 10 VLCdays, and with 6 loading lbs. So -12.5 total.

Guess what. THIS IS THE LOWEST I've weighed in 18+ years or thereabouts, that I crazy! It is renewing my hope to buy a fresh vial Monday and go 40 days. I would love to hit 170's, but need to hit 180's first lol.

My first day back to work after all summer off (I sub!) and son had surgery last week. I think that time of the month is coming around, seems early. In other rounds I had to lower hcg dose. Today is my skip day.

Was gonna buy shrimp yesterday but it was 20$ a bag, uh no thanks, stick to my 5$ for 3 lb chicken breast for now lol.
    Started JULY 2015
    Ended 4 rounds November 2016

Now I just have to figure out how to not go up after HCG

Thank you so much. That really helped. Just added some lemon juice, stevia, and a pinch of salt to my water and its going down much easier. I felt like before I was just drinking water to let go of it so hopefully this makes a difference. And with the scale, I did the same thing this morning. Moved it to another side of the bathroom and everything. Got on slowly. Got on fast. LOL it's pretty cool to know that this is working.

Daisy - we are staying in Yountville at a B&B called Lavender. It's where we stayed last time. We are going to have a driver two of the days named Tac, he's awesome and picks places for you to go if you want. We are also going to do some wine making and drinking from a barrel. I can't wait. Our trip is in 46 days. You are doing fabulous with your losses. Keep up the great work!

Cupcake - Those 180's are teasing you. I'll keep my fingers crossed that you swoosh into the 180's tomorrow!

Hi, Do any of you have an hcg phone ap that they are using and like? I've been using mynetdiary to chart my calories but don't have an hcg specific ap.

I'm a returning loser too. Originally started in 2009, lost about 70 #. Have come back off and on over the years to tune up. Last September, hubby and I quit smoking and I gained everything Back. Started VLCD Sep 12 at 212, down to 202. Want to do a 36 day round to quick start my losses. This time around, I'm using Corion that I bought in 2015. Mixed it fresh, but it still leaves me craving food. I think I'm dealing with withdrawal from all the snacking I let myself do when I quit smoking. Hopethis iwll pass soon. I'm using celery sticks to fill in the gaps of cookies and candy. Haven't been on the forums since my first rounds but hope to find the support I found then. Happy losing to all
