210.3 This morning. And tonight's meal after 5pm will be my first P3 meal. I have a tennis match scheduled but we are supposed to get a lot of rain today. I have some leftover grilled tuna and an avocado ready to go if I do play. Probably take that home and eat it if we don't play.

Since P3 is the most important part of the diet (to me at least), it will remain on this thread. I will be checking in as much as possible.

    Until then

Great job, Jeff! You reached that 210 goal! And thanks for keeping us posted, I've learned a lot of people read these posts even if they don't actively participate, and those of us who do participate especially appreciate your feedback! Enjoy your p3 meal tonite and here's to stablizing!

Today is the first full day of P3. Woke up to 210.2 which is down .1lbs from yesterday. Also shows that my new scale moves in increments of .1lbs whereas my old scale only in increments of .2.

Even though my round was only 2 weeks, it is really good to get back into P3. It is a comfortable place for me for sure. It is not that I was so ready to start living it up food wise, not was I really missing anything (other than a glass of red wine) but the limited choices on P2 really gets old. I mainly eat seafood on P2 and even after a short round I am ready for some land based protein.

Last night I finished off my leftover black fin tuna steaks from Sunday. Leftover, cold fish isn't exactly a treat. But a chunked up avocado on the side more than made up for it. I ate enough fish (and left plenty on the plate) but am comfortable that the avocado got me where I need to be calorie wise. My body was satisfied. Was very hungry in the afternoon however but that is par for the course for last transition day. I did open a bottle of Chilean Carmenere and enjoyed a couple glasses leaving enough for tonight as well.

2 eggs fried over medium in avocado oil with 2 small links uncured sausage for breakfast (my standard P3 breakfast. To switch things up I scramble my eggs). Must have been a short round because I didn't miss eggs as much as I normally would. Grilled chicken thighs with peppers and onions for lunch. A small picanha steak with salad for dinner.

Mentally I am feeling good but there is a little concern there. I am not as "gung-ho" as I was going in to my last P3 and that bothers me a bit. My mind is in the game but not at the level it was a couple months ago. But it is way more in the game than it was in past recent rounds (2020 rounds especially). I think the big reason is that this round is so close time wise to my February round that it is almost an extension of the same round. I feel I have settled in a bit. But either way, as long as I mind the cues my body gives me when I eat and weigh every day I should be okay.

Also trying a new product this P3. Inside Out Wellness homeopathic appetite suppressant pellets branded "Sustain". They are stimulant free. Going to try them out. Will take them mid morning and mid afternoon. Just a little extra help. Not sure it is needed as I did well last time. Either way, going to give them a shout. I am in no way affiliated with these people. Read about this product on the HCG 2.0 facebook group page (which seems to be there mainly to hawk their products) and seems interesting.

    To be continued

Jeff, look forward to your postings, everyday--especially as I feel I'm on same page as you right now. ( Btw, your meals always sound so good) I feel we are on the same page about the diet. I don't know exactly what it is but I worry that I'm slowly losing dedication and control over my food wants and maybe even portions. I'm hoping this little jaunt back into p2 will lasso me back into the right mindset, awareness of portions, mindful eating, etc. Going now into 5 1/2 months of mental awareness of CONSTANTLY eating correct foods and portions. I wonder if it has just become tiresome? I remember Miss M saying she wanted to get to point that everything didn't revolve around food, good or bad-- And I want the same. I feel so much better now than in December, I don't want to just ease up. If I ease up I would probably lose all the gains, or regain all losses made. I do NOT want that to happen. I want to be "gung-ho" about P3 as I was before, as you say. So much a mind game now at least for me. My husband has lost weight along with me, even tho he hasn't done hcg, he's still lost prob 14-15 lbs, eating the fish, lower carbs. But I've noticed he has eased up too. Yesterday he had a fast food burger and fries, and then ordered a pizza last night--I was just having grilled shimp and he decided he didn't want that. It is so easy to fall back into bad habits of convenience foods. Be glad you and wife do this together.

Curious about the Inside OUt Wellness appetite suppressant, hope you'll update on those. And congratulation on the weigh in this morning! Job well done!

I agree and we do seem to be in the same place. I have referred to this protocol as "going to the whip" to borrow a horse racing term. I think this is appropriate because it is an extreme measure and not something that can be relied upon as a long term way to live. At some point, your body and mind just screams "Enough!!!". It is possible we are both at that point. I have been on this protocol since Super Bowl weekend. A very short P4 break in April but for the most part have been in either P2 or 3 the entire time.

But I want to remain vigilant so need to find balance, once this P3 round is over of course.

Took 3 pellets as directed a little while ago and feeling a bit jittery. Not sure what the active ingredients are so I will monitor. Certainly not hungry but that might have been the case without. It might be best to take later in the morning.

209.5 this morning. Down .7 from yesterday.

I fully expected to see a 2 or 3 pound gain this morning. I just could not get satisfied food wise last night. Got home, hungry but not too crazy. Made a piece of mahi mahi on the grill for my wife with a butter/caper sauce. Had a picanha steak for me, maybe 8oz. Simple salad on side with avocado oil, truffle oil, white balsamic and a sprinkle of parmesan. Couple glasses of red wine. Couple fat bombs for dessert. Never satisfied hunger wise with the meal. Felt like I could have eaten double that but as it was I thought I was on the upper end of what I should have eaten. Very surprised to wake up to a loss. There is a lot of trial and error in phase 3 and still figuring this thing out. The body is a complex and confusing machine. You can eat low calories and grind out a couple of days watching the scale stay steady in P2, then throw down a steak and many more goodies and see a nice loss in P3. That aside, it is really cool to hit the sub 210 land.

Today is a weird day in Houston. Strong storms last night. Power still out at my house. Probably not back on until tonight for some stupid reason. That points towards a restaurant meal for dinner.

Yay, under that 210 mark! The body surely is complex and confusing at times. But I think we are happy to take these kinds of surprises! As usual your food sounded delicious. In P3 I think it is just so important to eat enough while limiting starches and sugars. During my planned interruptions I had no problems stablizing. I did take little forays into starchland--not often but occassionally. Hcg must make the body so sensitive to sugars, fats that any slight deviations will cause stalling, if not gains. Once you've kinda cleared your body of all that and accomplished the reset--we hopefully CAN eat good food, in reasonable quantities and not gain 5-10 lbs immediately. That's the plan anyway! Enjoy.

Hope you get power back on soon. Eating out on P3 is totally doable, so enjoy your meal!

My problem is that I would go overboard on the correct foods in the past. Giant steaks, fatty dressings, and too much. Cheese, wine, etc. But yeah, you can cut back too much and possibly slow the metabolism. If anything, maybe my mind is too careful and that can lead to not eating enough. Just got to find the right balance.

back up to 210.8 this morning. That is a 1.3lb jump. Really didn't eat bad yesterday. A couple uncured sausage links for breakfast. Grilled chicken thigh meat with peppers and onions for lunch. Arugula salad on side. Grilled chicken thigh caeser salad with avocado for dinner. Not a big amount of protein yesterday but I did get some good fats in. 2 small glasses of wine. 2 fat bombs.

My takeaway: weights are going to swing a bit in phase 3. It is a single day so not even remotely concerned. But if I see substantial gains the next couple of days, then I need to address what I am doing.
