Anyone here who finished the hCG?

I've thought of starting a thread based on those who have already done the hCG phase, and the Maintenance Phase. So anyone of you here have gone back to eating all organic, anything and everything that you want?

HI Valinter, I have done 2 rounds of HCG.

Generally in my own experience the best most effective way to maintain fat losses/releases is to try to continue to eat cleanly. I am not 100% organic nor are most HCG dieters. P4 Helps you unerstand what does and what does not work for you.

I tend to stick to a lower carb/sugar diet, avoid breads and grains as I tend to pack on weight quickly. Some people tend to go "Paleo" or "Atkins" styles of eating and do quite well. They tend to focus on meats and fats before fruits and vegetables and keep carbs/processed foods low. Each person responds differently and that is part of learning what works best for you.

Generally I can have something I REALLY want be it pizza, pasta, cake once/week if I am strict the next day or so.

We do have a P4 Lets Stay Connected thread for those wanting to stay accountable in maintenance. From what i know ...just being organic...doesnt mean you can eat all u want The scale helps me stay accountable even when i travel. Not many posters on the P4 site but i lurk around

I don't find it practical or possible to eat completely organic. I just do the best I can to choose quality foods and get organic when it is a budget-sensible option. I do avoid GMO whenever possible.

Eating organic is not a free pass to abuse food quantities. There is organic icecream and organic sugar, and you can make organic pizza, but over-indulging is going to cause you problems. You have to find your balance. Like Rose, I weight daily, because if I don't its easy to let things get out of control. The weight you lose with HCG is different, in that you can gain back 10 pounds before you start to see a change in your clothes.

I eat completely differently now that I am at goal than I used to before HCG. I make better and healthier choices, but am still working on the eating formula I need to keep my results. You have to come to terms with the balance of using food for fuel but being able to enjoy your "fuel".

Good luck with your upcoming P3.

Finishing the HCG cycle is not so easy. One who follows it cannot stop the hcg for once. I usually weigh 210 pounds. I just started hcg and followed 4 cycles in a row.
    I lost 30 pounds.

Sure there are many of us who have done multiple rounds of hcg and gotten to goal. If you follow P3 carefully you can usually determine the cause of gaining weight too. Often it's something you didn't realize was a problem for you like dairy or gluten. I eat mostly organic, whole foods.
My advice is based specifically on the original Simeons Protocol. Grammy's personal protocol:Grammy's Hcg Diet Protocol

Still hang around this forum to keep myself accountable I have done several short rounds after creeping up since i periodically lowered my goal weight. I am grateful for this program, In P4 which is a lifestyle eating change i try to eat healthy foods including fats. I do not eat lots of dairy or grains as i tend to more hunger with both of these categories but have not totally eliminated anything

I'm a 4 round veteran. I did good keeping weight off with out Organic, just avoiding sugar and unnecessary carbs and most import WATER. The problem of weight gain for me comes back for two reasons:
    - I stop drinking water
    - I convince myself that it's OK to have whatever I want
In both of the above cases the weight didn't come back right away, I could go days and weeks at the same weight so that gave me a false sense of confidence...but over time it sneaks up on ya'!
