Thread: new guy here - starting over on a new journey

    246.2 this morning. Much better.

    Playing singles tennis this morning so tomorrow's weigh in will probably show no or little loss with a rebound on Monday. 12 more days taking HCG drops counting today. Would really like to get down to at least 238 by that day.

    Taking a little bit of ACV with water at night. That is eliminating any night cravings so moving smoothly. Was in a horrible mood and frame of mind yesterday.

    Down to 245.8 this morning. Slight loss but likely due to playing tennis yesterday.

    Really feeling the lack of calories today however.

    244.8this morning. 9 more dose days, 11 more days of vlcd. Already starting to plan the P3 diet.

    244.4 today. Small loss. Disappointing but not a surprise. Spent the entire day doing yard work. Was sore all over so I am sure my body is holding water. Should be more tomorrow.

    You are doing great. I Am not that active so losses for me average half lb day But hcg helps get me back to eating right

    Thanks. I should end up somewhere between 20 and 25lbs when it is done. I am looking at this as a kickstart. Once I get out of P3 I will be hitting the gym and tennis courts hard. Will eat clean with the hopes of dropping another 10 lbs over the summer the old fashioned way.

    244.2 this morning. Last 3 days I have been doing strenuous yard work, basic landscaping and crushed granite driveway work. About 5 hours per day of hard work. Or at least hard enough considering the calorie intake. Prett sore at night. My belly felt a little bloated last night so I am probably holding a little extra water right now. Back in the office today with no exertion, so I bet the losses catch up tomorrow morning. Not stressing out. My plan is to do last dose on Wednesday so I will finish VLCD next Friday and begin P3 on Saturday. Here is the catch though. I am travelling the following week from Sunday to Friday. That is a difficult way to begin P3 with a bunch of restaurant meals, so i will have to be vigilant. I will either pack my scale or buy a new one when I land and check every day. Then I will be travelling most of the next week too. Difficult, but no way around it.

    16 days of VLCD and 18lbs down from preload weight. I will take it. 7 more days of doses. I have averaged .7lbs lost the past 7 days. I would imagine that would be a reasonable pace for the rest of the way. So a LIW 239 would be cool.

    Biggest regret is that I didn't take measurements at the beginning. Those reading please heed this advise. I am noticeably thinner but not as dramatic as past rounds. I am two belt loops tighter. I began being a 38/40 waste on pants depending on mfg. Now I fit comfortably in size 38 and can feel the difference in my pants. But not dramatic. That's okay.

    Pretty flabby in my upper body from not working out. Really ready to hit he workouts to tighten things back up. I am confident that my muscle loss is from now working out instead of lack of calories. No real hunger so I am confident that the HCG is working.

    I travel a lot and have even done P2 while being gone for several weeks. For me P3 which i will be doing traveling two weeknds out of town for me is great I love P3 I do bring some beef jerky and turkey bites from walmart to snack on, i also bring bag of apples. Main issue is getting enough veggies. I usually will eat a subway salad with extra meat and vinegar and oil if i need fast food. Or if dining out i eat steak and veggies You will do fine. If you have no issues with cheese then hard cheese or parmesan chips,good snack. Parmesan chips are cheese only and no,starch They are at walmart in the salad dressing section

    thanks. I will look for the cheese chips at Wal Mart. P3 at restaurants isn't too hard. Especially coming off of P2.

    played tennis last night. Usually my weight is stable the morning after. This morning? 241.4, a 2lb drop. Officially passed the 20lb mark for this round. Officially 20.6lbs below pre-load weight. For those who count post-load, it is 22.2lbs lost. 5 more wakeups until I tally the LIW.

    Another thing to note that this week has been extremely easy. Basically coasting through. Lots of energy. Not hungry at all. Don't really care about food. I feel like I could go on much longer with this and if I didn't have a business trip the week after next I probably would.

    I have stopped trying to get creative with vegetables in an effort to make them taste good. Just eating raw celery or tomatoes. For protein, basically either baked cod with "Slap yo Mama" cajun seasoning (lots of cayenne), grilled Argentinean red shrimp (tastes like a cross between shrimp and lobster) or grass fed steak.

    I am on vlcd 5 Down about 4.8 lbs Not much hunger this week. Just when close to meal time. My veggies are asparagus with tilapia for lunch and chicken or shrimp with celery or cucumbers for dinner. I eat two apples a day one mid morning and one for dinner, i dont do grissini ormthemtablespoon of milk
