First I did consider extending my first forum post for round 2 but I thought they are 2 completely different experiences and it will be very useful to compare the 2 rounds and see what was different.
A few things to note for my second round:
- I will be doing my reformer Pilates 3x per week in order to increase my muscle tone and also try to reduce the risk of lose skin
- I won’t be increasing my calories to factor in these classes but I will keep a very close eye on my fatigue.
I’ll be tracking my measurements weekly as I’m not sure if my weight will decrease as much as in the first round.
I am planning to follow the standard 21 days and extend as I see fit. I don’t want to push myself too far. In saying this though I will be aiming for 30 days.
GOAL WEIGHT: 102kg/ 224.87lbs

Great work and much success with your second round!
I am all done and maintaining well so far. Started P4 today though I am in no rush to add carbs just because. With fall coming though I can see some sweet potato in my near future.

Maintaining well, but at 160
Day 1 of loading, currently sitting at 113.4kg.
Not actually looking forward to this too be honest, I've been doing so well but am doing my best to stay away from overly carby things and stick to the good fats.
Been maintaining really solidly in between the round. Developed some beautiful new p3 habits as well!
I won't be exercising on these days of loading as the excess food doesn't seem to work with me and intense exercise.
I am intending on doing a 28 day round, plus the 3 days without HCG. As noted on the forum I seem to be noticing that people have better stability with a slightly longer round. I have noticed this too.
I won't be tracking my calories for loading days or the foods, but I can definitely see some avocadosin my future!

Roscoe.

Day 2 Loading
Weight: 115.3kg/ 253.66lbs
Feeling okay this morning. Had a mixture of fats, nothing too heavy. Only had a couple of pieces of bread other than that it was steak, coconut oil, peanut butter, cashews...all that good stuff. Woke up to a pretty large gain but this isn't surprising.
Indulged in a number of glasses of red wine and loved them.
Prepping my foods for P2 today and have decided to go with chicken tenderloins this time round, They have not as much fat and are much easier to prepare. I still have not changed my basic outlay of foods that I'll be having.
- 100gm Chicken Breast (Boiled)
- 1 Green Apple
- 100gm Prawns (Steamed)
- 200gm Punnet Cherry Tomatoes
- 1 Grapefruit
I do also keep some celery sticks in the fridge if I need another snack, but previously I haven't needed the extra calories. I will keep a box of grissini in the car just incase I experience an attack of low blood sugar however I found they didn't seem to do much other than the crunch factor. Also I wont be trying any recipes nor adding anything to the foods....apart from a bit of salt and pepper. I find I am far better off if there is no flavour, otherwise I seem to get cravings.

Roscoe.

Loading days went well, managed to get in a good amount of fat and think I have loaded appropriatly. I did feel like I over did it on the second day especially with having a late night curry which was not a great idea. Woke up today feeling really bloated and sick.
I know my weight should go down the first 2 days, but its still not how I wanted the days to go. I think theres a few emotional wounds that need to be healed on this round that may open up. This round will be my golden egg. I am aiming for 100kg but would be satisfied with 102 or 103kg. At the same time I think this will be my inches round. The reshaping in p3 has been noticable and I'm really hoping for a good loss on my stomach as this is often my problem area.
Anyway I'm feeling good, a bit hungover, but nevertheless good about this next round. My body is responding so positively to this diet that I think once I'm into the swing of things I'll be fine.

Day 3
Weight: 113.1kg
Day 2 was very challenging, lots of cravings and detoxing going on. Could just feel the effects of overdoing it on my second day of loading. Got through it in the end. I did end up having both my grissini just to keep the cravings at bay. I also drank a huge amount of water. Day 3 has been vastly improved. Feeling the good hormones coming through now. I will be doing my measurements tomorrow as I believe this round will be a measurement round. Aiming for the goal of 102kg. However if I'm really lucky it will be under 100kg but I'm just taking it day by day and round by round. I have decided that I would rather do another round than go off the rails when things aren't going my way (if this makes sense). Honestly, either way I will be so excited to be under 105kg. I have not been here since 2017.
I am keeping to my word that this will be my last year of HCG. I cannot bring this yoyo mentality into my 30's. It has dominated my 20's and enough is enough. I need a set weight I can work my life around. In terms of being happy and looking good. I still believe 85kg will be my final destination. I will adjust this as needed.
Onwards and upwards,
Roscoe
Day 4
Weight: 111.9kg
A few cravings this morning, nothing really bad though. I forgot to take my last dose before bed and I do believe this was the culprit. Chugged down a few bottles of water and felt much better. Indulged a little and had 2 grapefruit. Have not been having the vegetables. I have however been having the rice cracker. I think especially for the first 2 weeks it just keeps me from going completely mad.
My stomach has literally disappeared! I had to chuckle I met a fellow driver at a restaurant and he looked a few times and didn't say anything but you could definitly tell he had noticed the hard work. It's nice to get these little boosts.
I have decided on a target for this round, 102kg. As long as I get to this I will be happy with this round. I have not decided if I will do 24 days or do 30. I am gently moving towards the 24 but will see how my losses pan out. I am expecting a more reshaping and good inch loss. I will measure myself tomorrow (12/9/21) as I think this round will more focused around inches.
I was temped to try on some of my clothes tonight, but will leave it for the moment. Its going to be so fun. Lots of them have never been worn before. However, anything that I do not fit by the end of the year will be donated. I can't keep holding on to the past.
I am investigating waxing at the moment and have found a good quality salon that do mens waxing. I will initally do my chest and back. This is something I've been self consisious about for a few years now and its time to bite the bullet and do something about it.
