Almost everyone has a stall in the middle of the round. I doubt the "magnesium cream" had anything to do with it. I would skip weighing in for several days at least, and be patient. Your losses will resume.

Fair point, my friend. Thanks for your encouraging words I like the idea of weighing in every couple of days, especially when the losses slow towards the end.

    Day 16 Phase 2

    Weight 105.9kg/ 232.98lbs

    - 11.6kg/ 25.52lbs (Post Loading)

Went slightly rouge yesterday and skipped my second meal. I wasn't all that hungry and I was very concerned about my unexpected gain of 0.300gm. Upon reflection I do believe the culprit was the magesium cream that I put on my inner thigh the night before. It is very oily and I'm certain that it was an unexpected change for my body. Thankfully it corrected itself overnight but was still a shock as I have experienced amazingly consistent weight loss on this particular round.

I am in to my last week currently and I am interested to see how my weight will change in the last few days. I am keeping my fingers crossed for another solid 3kg to get to 102.9kg. Honestly though, I am grateful for the journey. Its been a tough road, and I'm no where near finished but it sure as hell beats where I used to be.

    Onwards and upwards,

    Roscoe.

    Day 17 Phase 2

    Weight: 105.9kg/ 232.98lbs

My body is fighting me and its really frustrating. My losses have been excellent, but the last week my weight has been going up then down and all over the place. I do understand that its all part of the journey, but it gets me down a little, especially when I haven't changed anything in my diet. I am reviewing my measurments today to check and see if they have changed. I have not been under 105kg in a long time and I think its just going to take a little more work than my inital round to get lower. I did go back and review my previous round and did have have some issues. Especially between days 16 - 19 with getting under old set points.

I'm still toying with the idea of doing a PI. Will provide more updates soon.

    Frustrated, but onwards and upwards,

    Roscoe.

Not the thread for this question. Pop it in another area.

    Day 18 Phase 2

Weight: Not worth the mental energy to put myself through.

Alrighty, I'll spare the gory details. but my trip back home to see the family did not go well. I anticpated having a salad for lunch with a small glass of wine. I thought I could get away with this. I was very much wrong. Ended up making some really bad choices. I was on the way for being under 105kg. The cheat was not worth it. I wish I had just cancelled the event. It really will put me back a good number of days. But that is in the past. I cannot change anything and I'll just need to push through.

On the upside, I am planning to keep doing an extended round I thought long and hard about this. I am already having great losses and there is no point in stopping just because I hit a road bump.

I'll be aiming for another 4 weeks. I may have to do a PI during this but it will be short.

This will be my longest round yet.

    Onward and upward.

Are you planning a longer round than the protocol says to do? That may cause problems too, down the road. It's hard to envision doing another round but in the end you will stabilize better long term.
    Intermountain HHCG
    Goal 150
    R3
    P2 6/28
    PI 7/24-8/3
    P2 8/4-8/19
    P3 8/22
    P4 9/13
    LDW 149.2
    Maintaining well, but at 160

    Quick update.

Decided not to weigh myself today. Went for a long walk and didn’t give my cheat a second thought. Feeling much better today. Loving how this round is turning out though. Have dropped the goal to get to under 100kg. Just trusting my body, it will go to where it needs to be.

Hi Mrsstrong, did contemplate that for a couple of days but have popped that back in the rubbish bin. I read a convincing article, but after weighing the pros and cons I couldn’t justify it. Thanks Round 2 - (The Thick of It…) for checking in, really appreciate it. How are you finding your stabilisation? You must almost be in p4?

    Day 20 Phase 2

    Weight: 108.8kg

Not loving this result, but making my bed and lying in it.

I guess you can't predict everything, but somethings just really put a nail in the coffin.

    Anyway, back to basics.

    Onwards and upwards,

    Day 21 Phase 2

    Weight 107.5kg

I am trying really hard not to be angry with myself and let my sadness get the better of me, Its been 4 days now since my cheat and thankfully the weight is still coming off steadily. However I am not bouncing back like my previous rounds. I think my body is frustrated with me. I was so damm close to passing a milestone which had eluded me for so long. I should have just cancelled the stupid family event. There is another 1 coming up and I have said I won't be attenteding. I just made an excuse saying I had a job interview. I thought that was solid enough. I tell ya though, I think your first round you can get away with a bit more because your body isn't as prepared and doesn't know what to expect...It seems though subsequent rounds...don't risk it. You've come so far and literally the one day isn't worth it. I know this has been said time and time again, but it never hits as hard as when it happens to you.

My rant and tears aside I am actually on track. I have made a point to eat very clean for a week or 2 this includes no melba, and no second fruit. I've also swapped to having celery and cherry tomatoes for my veggies. Plus have cut having eggs for the moment. This does seem to be making a marked difference in my losses. I probably will bring eggs back soon, but need to get back to a safe weight first.

Furthermore, I have decided to keep going on this round till 40 days, this should take my to my goal of under 100kg. I will have to do a PI around mid october, but I wouldn't dare risk cheating on the HCG again. It's just not worth it.

Alrighty I've had my cry and its time to move on

    Onward and upward,

    Roscoe.
