So glad you've established a new thread where we can follow along. I love your reminder about making plans . . . and being real with ourselves about how things have gone in the past. And the eternal optimist in me also fully believes that right now we can choose differently. Again and again. Moment to moment. Day after day. It will require discipline and diligence and regular reminders to ourselves for WHY we're choosing differently again and again--doing the hard work of deeper personal transformation. It starts with food, but it's about so much more than food.
And for you, I think your passion for tennis may be tremendously useful as a motivating force to keep off the weight and continue to eat in the most healthy ways for you and your body. The stronger, healthier, fitter you are, the more enjoyment, no doubt, you get on the court, right? I feel that way about dance and yoga. Something I've noticed, for example, is that having lost significant belly fat there's literally more room for me to bend and twist into very cool postures that I simply couldn't access before. That's highly motivating!
Anyway, super grateful we're going through our P3 together. Eager to observe your wise reflections and observations. Even mistakes are better shared and reflected upon. But you seem really steady and even-keeled about all this right now. I think that's great and I'm going to take a cue from you on that to the best of my ability!
