I had scallops once last P2 and gained as well. They are way too delicious! Besides, there is no better way of eating them than with bacon!

I had no idea scallops weren't allowed in P2 during my first round last fall. I ate them regularly and had no discernible negative effects. Go figure.

Love the recap, Jeff, and am glad you're planning to continue checking in as desired. I feel the same way.

Enjoy the weekend. What a treat to go to your favorite bistro you haven't visited in a while!

As a disclaimer I do the 2.0 protocol and the rating on scallops is well below the mark where they consider it acceptable. Not sure where it rates on OP but don’t believe it was included.

Dinner last night was awesome. We split the short rib which is on a bed of cheese grits and wilted Swiss chard. The bitterness of the chard and the creaminess of the cheese grits is a great pair, especially with the richness of the beef. Really a below average portion for restaurant standards but just fine for the two of us. We’re going to order the provaleta for an appetizer but a nice summer salad of watermelon, yellowfin tuna cucumbers basil and sesame oil caught our eye. The sort of thing we will crave from here on out. Washed down with 3 glasses of a Chilean Carmenare and all was good.

215.4this morning. Really thought I would be around 220.

Big breakfast this morning. 3 eggs scrambled in avocado oil. 3 small links of uncured sausage. Followed by 3 hours on the tennis court. Planned on having lunch afterwards before going to the grocery store. Had a handful of almonds and my body telling me I really don’t need lunch so skip until dinner.

Dry brining a good sized prime NY strip steak.sweet potato fries in the air fryer and a side salad. Bought a nice bottle of Chilean Carmenare for tonight. Masters this afternoon while I meal prep for next week lunches

Your food choices always sound so delicious! And 215.4 this morning? Awesome for you! What I miss most on P2 is being able to get up and have breakfast and coffee. I'm not an IF person, I enjoy breakfast. Look forward to my protein in a.m. Enjoy the Masters, we've been watching, and seems like everything looks greener than ususal. Just beautiful this year.

A great leaderboard. A lot of guys hard to pull against. May the best man win!! I have been feeling that Matsayuma has been due but Masters Sunday is a different animal. This might end up being the best Masters Sunday since 1998. I used to be a big golf guy but haven’t been on course for several years but love the Masters. Quite possibly the best sporting event of the year.

Matsayuma seems to be on a roll, but like you said--depends on Sunday play, who can stand the pressure, who has the best round. We were hoping they'd stay bunched up, but it looks like Matsayuma may go on ahead significantly. DH is a big golf guy, plays in a golf league, goes several times a year on golf trips with his buds, l enjoy watching the major tournaments, but can't hang with watching every week. But like you said The Masters is special, and so happy to see a gallery there!
