different brands of HCG. which is good or bad?
ok i am using the drops for hcg. i started with the drops thatcontain only HCG, and some percentage of alcohol to help absorb under the tounge, from yourhcg.com. now i know someone else that is doing the hcg from legacy health group and this has all kinds of different stuff in,(she says its really good stuff for you). how do i know what is the good stuff and what is the not so good stuff. i am on p3 ready for another round of p2 and just wondering what i should go back on. i lost 33 lbs w the stuff i used but should i go to this other hcg cause it has more suppliments in it and is better for my health. can anyone comment on the stuff they use to tell me if it works for them or not?

also what about the pellets, this other hcg is in the form of pellets

    @ mgsondance,

Are you saying we should not mix it with silver or b12? I have bought mine and trying to get the maths done for mixing. Thought i would go thru the threads to educate myself before i start on hcg.
I would like to do 250 per drop. I have 3x 5000IUD ampules. I would like to go on 40 days hcg. Pls advice how can i go on mixing this also pls let me know if I SHOULD NOT mix it with silver and b12.

    Thanks alot

at a dose of 166 twice a day, a vial of 5000 will give you a 15-day supply of hcg. so yes, you add 15 ml of water and take .5 cc's twice a day. or if you don't like to hold that much fluid in your mouth (i don't), you can mix it to be more potent. basically you have 30 doses (twice a day, 15 days)- multiply 30 by the amount you want to hold under your tongue and that's how much water you want to add. i want to take .3 cc's rather than .5, so i multiply 30 x .3 and add 9 ml of water.

very few people need to lower their dose, although i have. Dr. B's research shows that taking 250 twice a day results in less hunger and slightly better losses, although i've not necessarily seen that on the forum. diane's folks all take 250 and do well, but colleen has seen more hunger with the increased dose.

if your hubby is hungry i'd have him skip a day and see if his hunger gets better or worse. if better, drop the dose slightly. if worse (he might even know by the time he'd normally take his evening dose), then he could try increasing his dose (and start the increased dose that same evening). if he has a very physical job, he might want to add a bit of lean protein to his daily intake.

i would not use the silver- use just bact water or sodium chloride. i mix for a smaller volume because it's easier to hold it in your mouth, but you can do any volume you want. 10000 divided by 250 per dose means you have enough for 40 doses (20 days). then you multiply that by what volume you want to take. i take .3 cc's, so i mix for a total of 12 cc's (so add 11 if it's liquid hcg, otherwise add 12). if you want to take .5 per dose then add 20 cc's (or 19 if pre-mixed).

Snow White - if you are going to do the 250iu dose twice a day for a 40 day round you are going to need another 5000iu vial.

Bump. This info needs to be sticky.

I've done several searches for this info and never found this page nor satisfying info. Somebody replied to my thread on the subject and gave me the link.

    Thanks a bunch!

I was on hcg drops that I bought them off the internet--many of my friends had great success from these hcg drops. I am now in Phase three after losing 23 pounds. Another friend suggested injections because she feels that one never knows what one gets off the internet. I bought shots from her supplier but the needles are sort of upsetting me. You say that I can use the solution from the injections under the tongue. I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly for my next Phase 1.

Also, do I need to load the 7 days again with the the second round? and If I use the Hcg under my tongue do I still follow the same instructions of loading for 7 days?

How does one know that one is getting reputable Hcg? I got it from a source who I trust and has had high success on it. She has lost over 100 pounds and has kept it off. However, is there someplace else you would recommend. I really want my next round to be done correctly. Thank you.

You don't load for 7 days, only 2. Not sure where you got that 7 days. I'd gain a good 10 pounds if I did that. There are several places you can order. There's a "buy hcg" tab at the top of the page with HDI's recommended hcg suppliers.
My expert Hcg Diet advice is based specifically on the original Simeons Protocol. Grammy's personal protocol:Grammy's Hcg Diet Protocol

The directions for the two days came with the drops I bought, but with the injections it said 7 days. I don't really want to do the 7 days because for one my eating habits have changed since the drops, and I am afraid I will gain back a lot of weight.

    I appreciate the response--thank you.

Great post Mgsondance. I have done the injections (years ago), Rx SL (troche pellets) and am now on HHCG Troche Pellets. Always had a terrible time on Rx. Homeopathic has been a breeze. I have alot of weight to lose and since I like to research things, I plan to try all the forms of HCG out there. Gotta get your excitement any way you can (lol). I am thinking Rx pellets next round, where I get to adjust the dosage to see what's going on with issues I have had with Rx. As far as protocol. I did clinics prior to the round I am on now and the HCG dosage and the protocol was controlled by the clinic. I see some clinics or sellers have modified the original Simeons plan for whatever reason (to modernize it or sell you more products). So I have been a purist and a I have been a rogue with the original Simeons and still have lost weight. I do what works for me.

    R1-P2: - 9.8 lbs (Rx troche from clinic - Oct 2010)
    R2-P2: -10.0 lbs (Homeopathic pellets - Jan/Feb 2011)
    R3- (Rx injections - Oct 2014)

I am on Day 8 of hC3 Trim (homeopathic sublingual drops). I don't seem to fit in any of the categories you described, as there is no mixing required and the drops are taken every 12 hours, not 3X or 6X a day. I've lost 7.4 lbs so far and though I have had the urge to snack once in a while (because it's a longtime habit), hunger has not been a problem.

You say that the protocol is the same for all forms of HCG, but my VLCD allows no dairy whatsoever and strongly advises people to avoid gluten, too (which I am -- it's not a big deal on this diet). Plus, there is no mention of Phase 1. Some of the cookbooks I have discovered through this forum say they strictly follow the protocol, yet they are filled with recipes that include ingredients that I don't see on the food list. So, I'm very confused as to whether people using other forms of HCG are being given different rules/guidelines to follow and therefore I shouldn't heed their advice as to what's "legal" and what isn't.

The foods come straight from Dr. Simeon's Pounds and Inches manuscript pounds and inches as follows:

"The 500 Calorie diet is explained on the day of the second injection to those patients who will be preparing their own food, and it is most important that the person who will actually cook is present - the wife, the mother or the cook, as the case may be. Here in Italy patients are given the following diet sheet.

    Breakfast:

Tea or coffee in any quantity without sugar. Only one tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24 hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be used.

    Lunch:

    1. 100 grams of veal, beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat must be carefully removed before cooking, and the meat must be weighed raw. It must be boiled or grilled without additional fat. Salmon, eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled fish are not allowed. The chicken breast must be removed from the bird.

    2. One type of vegetable only to be chosen from the following: spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.

    3. One breadstick (grissino) or one Melba toast.

    4. An apple, orange, or a handful of strawberries or one-half grapefruit.

    Dinner :

The same four choices as lunch (above.)

The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, majoram, etc., may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing.

Tea, coffee, plain water, or mineral water are the only drinks allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times.

In fact, the patient should drink about 2 liters of these fluids per day. Many patients are afraid to drink so much because they fear that this may make them retain more water. This is a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store water when the intake falls below its normal requirements".

Many Doctors and clinics try to modify this for various reasons, but this IS the original, and has worked for thousand's upon thousand's. I would suggest reading the manuscript in it's entirety, you can just Google the title and it usually pops right up.
