    I am Fallen :(

    Ok, I sinned! Big time!

14 days, about 14 pounds lost in P2 and I lost it today. It was my GFs birthday, we went out for dinner...I ordered a meager salad without dressing. But then sipped a little Rum and got carried away. Before I knew, I had 3 cocktails, pizza, cheesecake and a bite of 3 appetizers.

I came home and now feel rotten. I feel like I let myself down. What do I do now? Get back to P2 tomorrow? Stop eating much for a few days? I feel miserable

Progress, which was already slow, is now all gone i suppose.

All is not lost. Get right back on protocol tomorrow and don't look back. Do not try to fix the cheat, but be sure to drink enough water tomorrow, because alcohol dehydrates you. Some people get away with a cheat, others pay by losing 3-4 days progress, but you can recover.

Raymond, I wrote this for you, before I saw your post

http://hcgdietinfo.com/how-to-fix-a-...-the-hcg-diet/ Haha, I love that i named it exactly what Leez said not to do. I actually agree with her though- just suggesting a different timeline that works for me.

For the future, you can "plan" a cheat so it's easier on you. For example, if you are going out for your girl's birthday.... http://hcgdietinfo.com/how-to-dine-out-hcg-diet
Google that restaurant's menu ahead of time and plan what you will order. Prepare yourself before you go. If you have a feeling you will stray and you really don't want to, take the girl out for a picnic instead

IF however, you decide it's worth it to have a setback, then do so wisely. Go ahead and have that cocktail and a few bites of whatever is on the table (preferably the healthiest stuff on the table) BUT stick to the advice in the cheat guide in the link above. You have ONE hour to wrap it up and get right back on the proverbial wagon. Then immediately do something good for yourself- even right now, go for a walk, drink some water, eat an apple. Heck, even take a vitamin! It's about the psychological factor of being good to yourself and not beating yourself up. You will be amazed at how fast you get right back on track!

Honestly, it's the psychological approach you will want to learn for your maintenance phase too

    Lots of luck,

Something like this happens once in a round for most people. We learn our lesson and don't do it again. Once mess up like that won't derail you. And what do you mean by slow losses? Just realize there is a lot of hype out there and you might be expecting more than is reasonable. I have a smoothie that I like that drops out the inflammation quickly. The negative is that it is mixing veggies which I don't normally do during protocol but if you are one who mixes veggies, here it is: 1 cup water, 1/2 cucumber, 2 stalks celery, 1 lime peeled, 1" fresh ginger. Blend together in a high end blender and down it.

    Thanks Grammy!

Last night, after we got home, my body was possibly not used to all these carbs and sugars. By night, I was feeling terrible in my tummy, it hurt bad, I was bloated and threw up several times. I tried your smoothie this morning as I felt really weak and it helped so much and was easy on my stomach too!

I was dreading weighing myself today, but here it is!

    1/15 - 166.8
    1/16 - 163.2
    1/17 - 163.2
    1/18 - 160.2
    1/19 - 158.8
    1/20 - 158.2
    1/21 - 157.2
    1/22 - 157.4
    1/23 - 158.3
    1/24 - 157.2
    1/25 - 158.7
    1/26 - 155.0
    1/27 - 153.8
    1/28 - 154.0
    1/29 - 154.1
    1/30 - 153.8

Grammy, this is what I meant by slow losses!

I love this! I do a similar one that also has spinach and strawberries (or avocado but that's not for p2 obviously.) #breakouttheVITAMIX

Sometimes that happens, you get a delayed weight bump just when you think the coast is clear. That's one reason it takes most of a week to recover from a cheat. Very few people get away with it completely. But there are some that do, and one can only hope to be in that group.
