    What you did hellzak is exactly what I thought I would be doing in p3. I really hope I can resolve this. I gave in a little tonight by having a small spoonful of marinara on my steak and then I had a small/medium spoon of almond butter. Uuugh, now if I gain tomorrow I wont know if it was the eggs, marinara or almond butter. <sigh>

    Bravebird, thank you for the crockpot idea! I will definitely do that. I had not thought of it.

    I lost 2.2 lbs this morning. I'm going to keep my food intake pretty close to what I did yesterday and hope for the best. Thank you girls for the support.

    Stick with the apples! We have had many people tell us that they can cheat all they want with apples and not stop the weight loss at all!

    You cannot "cheat all you want" with fruit, because the elevated sugar intake would be a real problem. When you make statements like this, you should disclose that your program involves drops with no HCG in it, that your diet is NOTHING like the one described in "Pounds & Inches", & that you obviously have something to sell. You are a "nationally ranked triathlete"? Have you ever actually been obese?

    ME TOO!!!!!!!! and it's sad. LOVE tomatoes and sauce of any kind!

    Even when I do tomatoes during VLCD's I never loose. I think it must be the sugar in them. Also if I'm not mistaken, tomatoes are considered a fruit???

    Personally I think this is an individual thing and you must experiment. I can eat hamburger or steak with tomato, sliced not sauce and I always lose. I ate tomato with hamburger, sirloin only, and an apple last night and I lost 2 lbs. it varies. I don't lose as much with fish, but I continue to try it for the omegas but I don't like it. I crave red meat and my doc says to go with these cravings. I have always been a big meat eater, when I was young I was tiny and ate meat with potatoes and veggies exclusively. so for now I skip the potatoes obviously, and eat my portion Of meat and veggies.

    One more thing, I find the raw sliced tomato more satisfying than tomatoe sauce and more filling. Maybe this makes a difference maybe not.
