Thanks Rocky, okay so i can get the missini or melba in the pasta isle at a krogers or something.
thanks for the advice again very helpful
Amy, Mixing vegetables are a no, no, but I doubt that tiny bit of onion hurt too much, just watch it and see. The cocktail sauce is something I would avoid unless you make your own with no prohibited ingredients.
Tarra, changes to TOM are totally normal, some lucky people skip them, I get them more frequently and longer. My first round I spotted the entire 23 days, luckily I haven't had that since and I think that was partly because I had a new IUD.
Cyaneyed, 6 drops seems low, unless your drops are different then mine. If you aren't hungry then fine, if you are then I would definately increase them.
Articgirl, onions are fine but you shouldn't mix your vegetable, the egg option is addressed in Pounds and Inches, you can do that as a substitute if you have a hard time with other meat. I don't think the losses on egg is quite as good. Some people do the cottage cheese as well but once again I'm not sure the losses are as good. I haven't tried either but know some people do. The yogurt is a no, no. My suggestion is that if you need to do the egg and cottage cheese to successfully complete the protocol then go for it. If you can do without then I would. That said, do what works for you and keep a log of what you are eating and what your losses are, everybody is different and what works for some doesn't for others. As for the no energy and headaches, it does get better, your body is detoxing and you will feel better in a few days. Some people take vitamin B12 to help with the energy levels.
Hope that helps,
Rocky

Hello everyone, here's today's progress:
R1P2 VLCD10 - lost 1.2#s
Total loss 12.2#s
For all of you that are in your first few vlc days and starving, it will pass! I was starving the first couple days but it leveled off and now, I have to make myself eat all of my lunch or dinner. The hunger has truly went away. For me, the first 3-4 days were the toughest and it has gotten much easier. (I am doing HHCG oral drops - 12 drops 3x day)
Rockymountainfly: you should write a book about your success or something! I feel like we should be paying you for the very valuable advice! Thanks for taking the time to help us newbies.
Best of Luck Everyone!
I agree with Tarra you should right a book or something for your success on the HCG diet. Yes, Tarra is right. my hunger has extremely decreased since yesterday and even more so since day 1 i am doing the injections.
Happy Thursday everybody. I am on VLCD2 and am down 3.6 from yesterday. I am .2 away from my pre-load weight. I tried the apple slices last night in the microwave with a bit of cinnamon, cardemon and salt.....it was AWESOME. I think I will have to do that every night since it was so good. I tried cutting the apple into the smallest slices possible so that it took me 20 minutes to eat them all...good trick. As I mentioned yesterday, my challenge will be the weekend. I'm going to try and sleep as late as possible and make myself a long chore list to keep me busy and away from the television as that is when I seem to slip into bad habits. I think a nice long walk would help as well. Is anyone else worried about the weekend?
VERY!!!!
nozas, I too am drinking Kangen water! We bought our system about 3 mths ago. It's amazing what it can do! My husband has been able to take A LOT less insulin & I have been off all the medications that I was taking for my Multiple Sclerosis. I think it will help a lot in your weight!
I am soo happy to see soo many people doing so well! I think drinking a lot of water is HUGE key! I know it's hard, I used to be a big diet drink fanatic, but after a couple of weeks, you'll notice that you don't stay as thirsty or hungry! Good luck as we go and again congrats and keep on keepin on! :-D
kristinab: are you strict with the guidelines of drinking the kangen as far as not drinking it for an hour after eating, and 20 minutes before eating, and not drinking it with any medications? Just curious how strict I need to be.
As far as today, I was down one pound. I lost 2.5-2.8 each day for the first 3 days, so I was a dissapointed with no loss yesterday and only 1 pound today, however I have to keep thinking that that is ok. I am down a total of 8.6 pounds in 8 days. I started at 256.6, so I have a looooooong way to go. I just have to keep myself on track.
Tarra, that *really* helps. I just came on here to post my tale of woe. I'm not only starving, but gaining! On 125 unit shots from my great doctor (she's used them herself). So feeling terrible about myself--"What is my problem?", etc. Drinking, gorged like crazy, doing it all right, journal-writing, doing the emotional work aspect but just hungry as hell. Well, I was doing it all right but did have more protein last night--was ravenous to even sleep! Frustrated, scared. On the call last night, I was the only hungry one!! I pray it will pass & your words helped me. Although, everyone else seems to be losing. I still haven't lost those damned 3 gorge pounds! Grr!
Good afternoon. VLCD2 down 2.4 I'll take it! I've done much better spacing out my food today about to go have fish and cucumbers for lunch. My co-workers are not happy with my seafood choices for lunch two days in a row but whatever I will lose this weight. I'm feeling pretty good and very motivated today despite my mother's negative comments about my portions. She has diabetes and high blood pressure this would do her good but to each his or her owns. Hoping i will have enough energy tonight to start some light exercise.
Wondering if I should order some b-12 injections. If anyone knows a good place please let me know.
aristotlelocke- That sounds good.
