    Cake

    I ate one tiny bite of cake. How much trouble am I in?

    Currently getting back to the ticker weight.

    Umm.... barging in to request some food ****. What flavor was it?? Icing???? Do tell! I nearly put some cookie in my mouth yesterday (and was planning to spit it out, honest), but was at my son's baseball game and it would have looked gauche at best. Love Wyo... used to live in Buffalo a million yrs ago, and now just enjoy random visits to friends around the state. Fingers crossed that you don't meet Jesus over the one bite of cake!

    i just joined this forum... R1P2 VLCD5.... i am very impressed with your numbers. i was 163 after my loading days and my goal is @ 120. i see you did 3 rounds.... how long did it take you? its very inspiring.

    Hi Mini -

    Thanks for the kind words! R1 was early November for me, 33 days of P2 (VLCD) b/c I was headed overseas for work and had to be well into P3 before flying out. R2 was early March-April (31 days VLCD), followed by just over 3 wks of P3 and back into P2 for R3. I started R1 on pellets, got soooo tired of hunger and switched to rx sublingual. This round I wanted to try drops to see if I could fine-tune my hunger issues (ha, no go there!), but may switch to pellets again as I've read lots more on tweaking pellet dosages than drops - and tweaking the drops seems soooo very random to me. I'm 5'1.5", big-framed, and hoping to get at least close to goal (i'm a slow loser - like 0.4/day...grrr). Good luck to you, and hope your round goes well!

    thanks for the info. i am a slow loser when NOT on HCG... so this will be an adventure. i am just under my pre-load and set-point this morning, so we'll see.

    congratulations! you are almost there. you may want to check out Tim Ferriss' 4-hour body when you get to your maintenance (P4) phase. i did his program for 2-3 weeks and it actually does seem to work, but i know everyone is different.

    That's funny because one of the things that Tim Ferriss advises in his 4 Hour Body/Slow Carb Living is a "cheat day". He says it keeps your metabolism purring better when on a VLCD to throw in a mix up on occasion. Although he talks about eating Snickers and other forbidden foods, but I've seen it before in this forum: people in a stall become frustrated, cheat, and their losses resume... so maybe there is something to it. Of course, I've seen people cheat and go into a stall too... so who knows?
