I've checked at 2 Walmart stores, Wagreens & CVS. They have prepaid VISA .. but none for International use (of course). I will check at my bank though .. didn't think about that!

I am also having a really hard time finding International Visa prepaid card. All the visa cards in stores are Not international. I just went to Bank of America and they said they no longer have any prepaid visa cards. I called BOA online, and they were no help. I am thinking of just using my regular Credit card, before they run out of hcg again.

I was told that a lot of check cashing places have them so I'm going to try there tomorrow - my bank was a no-go.

Colleen-you said you get a shopping card from Bank of America. I called them about a prepaid visa card, they said they dont have it. I went into a BOA branch and they also were no help. So I am wondering is the shopping card you got from BOA something different than the Visa card everyone here is talking about? I need to place my order this week, and dont know what to do. Should I just use my regular Visa card and keep a watch on it?

Ladies, I used a pre-paid visa card from CVS and it wasn't an international card and it worked.

Ready, when I went to my bank to try to get a prepaid visa, which they did not have. I was told that the debit card that I use is fdic insured. If there are fraudelent charges, you usually get the money back in your account the next day after you call.
All you have to do is call them and report it.

Actually, when I purchased my supplies this round, I purchesed from three different companies. One was ADC and Chase bank called me, sent me a text and an email to verify that the charges were mine.
But it could be the one company had some techinical difficulties and I was charged three times but credited twice. So, between that and the order from ADC, it might have been a red flag to them.
When you use your debit card, there are all kind of alerts that you can program.

We have a Bank of America Visa card and used the Shop Safe option they offer to create a new card number to buy with with a set limit. I had no idea that was even offered until I read a post by Grammy in another thread. The first time I tried it was declined due to suspicious activity so I had to verify my account information on the Bank of America website, canceled the first Shop Safe # and created a new one and then it worked fine.

just fyi. I bought a green dot VISA card at CVS. and had issues using it at AllDayChemist. I was selecting the VISA option at the top of the final checkout page. declined. so 3rd attempt I selected the VISA Electron option (god only knows what that is) but to my delight my purchase was no longer declined, but accepted. woohoo. so the prepaid visas at cvs work as long as you select visa electron.

Well, I just ordered from ADC. I used my regular Visa credit card. I am nervous, but hopeful. It was very smooth and I did an online chat with someone who helped me decide what to get and how much to get for myself and a friend. Now I just have to figure out how to get the rest of the supplies here in the next couple of weeks.

I'm gonna make this round as good as my first round! The two in between? Forgetaboutit!

Just an update...I just ordered from ADC and I spoke to the rep about the fraud going on. They said they changed all of their servers so the problem has been resolved.

I too ordered with my debit card. Hopefully they are sincere in everything being fixed! I'll def be posting if not!! lol!
