    Question Diet Period

    Hi everyone!!

I'm new here, although I have been silently stalking the threads.

So like most of you, I have decided to try HCG again. I previously went on the Slender Wonder diet and had wonderful results then marriage, two children and some health problems later I seem to have gained a lot back.

However I am struggling a bit to find an answer for how long I can go on the diet.

To put you into context, I am 226lb and would like to lose roughly 60lbs. When I went on the diet previously there was no time restrictions for being on the diet. Previously I did this diet while seeing a doctor for three months with no breaks inbetween, this time around I am doing it on my own.

When I went and collected my HCG they advised that I was to take it for 23 days, then take 3 days off. How long can I repeat this cycle for?

Thanks in advance for all your assistance.

5 rounds, down 78# and at goal
There has always been a time restriction. Your doctor evidently wasn't that knowledgeable about the dangers of going longer than 40 injections. Whoever told you to do 23 days and take 3 days off also doesn't understand the protocol. Read the original manuscript to fully understand the WHY. It's at the top of the page. But basically you do 40 injections, skipping one injection per week when you do a long round. OR you stop at 35 pounds, whichever comes first. Then you stay off hcg for 6 weeks between rounds 1 and 2, 8 weeks between 2 and 3, etc.

    Good luck!
