EDITED: added original copy!
Hi there,
Has anyone tried the dr. lipmans 800 calorie version of the HCG diet? I am still an OP faithful but was interested by what I read online and wanted some trusted feedback (anyone can write pretty marketing copy).
There are so many variations out there and just interested as to if anyone has had any results from upping their calories slightly?
Thanks in advance,
gastro.

I'm not familiar with that version. I follow hcg 2.0 from the Dr Zack LaBoube book, usually available at InsideOutWellness.net but also Amazon. It's higher calories because of higher protein.
I haven't specifically tried this but what I did was I ate very small portions of protein to hunger onlly and small amounts off veggies. I didn't do fruit or melba other than frozen cranberries. So it wasn't strict protocol but I still got to within 1 lb of my goal weight of 120 and for me at 5'3 that's pretty good my round was about 30 days long and I'm stabilizing pretty well. Anyways I CANNOT and DO NOT count calories (I have 5 young kids and way too busy and it would stress me) I focus on hunger and my body cues. I tried to eat the minimal amount. I ate a lot of chicken broth fat free and egg whites for egg drop soup. I went from 138 (didn't gain anything loading) to 121 in about 30 days. I am def thinking some days I went over 500 calories. I went by hunger and didn't eat fat. If I needed more protien I added in extra servings of chicken egg whites or talipia. Occasionally had a little lean ground beef. I wasn't hungry and I lost abnormal fat and re-shaped.
