Sure it's taken me WAY WAY longer than others, but I'm so happy to be a size 4 now, no matter how long it took. At least with HCG I know it can actually STAY off and I haven't had to workout 3 hours a day (barely at all).
I'm actually at goal, just want another 2-4lbs for a cush.

It's easy to get frustrated, but fastforward a month or two months...or beginning of summer and YOU'LL be at your goal, feeling gorgeous and thrilled that you stuck with it!
pinkhave you checked your dosing with Beth or Grammy to see if that could be any of it?

shuly I wonder if small people lose more slowly..not to mention the older you are, the slower you'll lose?

I'm 5'1" also, and just turned 51, and my doctor's office was surprised at how slowly I lost...

Hey Grammy, I'm taking the HHCG pellets. It calls for 4 pellets 3 times a day. Yesterday I did take an extra pellet with my afternoon dose and it didn't make any difference in my hunger.

I am 5'0", 53 yrs. old and at 112.0. I was hoping to get down this round to 105 and call it good. At my age if I get any thinner it just doesn't look good on me. Anyway, I'll be lucky to hit 110 and to be honest I would be perfectly content at 110lbs. if I can just get there.

I'm also losing very slowly. VLCD 15 down only 5.2 pounds :/ It kinda of depressing because i lost so well my first two rounds. I'm not hungry and i feel fine so I guess i'll just take what I can get. 5 is more than i could lose in a month on weight watchers or any other program

Count me in as a member of the SLOW losers club. I'm 5'0" also and was hoping to do just one round to get to my goal weight. I lost 6.8 lbs the first week (includes loading weight), 2 lbs the second week, and 1.2 lbs the third week (last week), for a total of 10 lbs over 21 VLCD.

Today is the first day of Week 4. I'm hoping and praying that the losses kick up a notch. I have not cheated once, not even a lick! I did follow another hcg protocol (which included other fruits/veggies and allowed mixing veggies) and used my lotion the first 2 weeks, but I got rid of the lotions and am sticking on the protocol veggies now and still my losses are as slow as molasses. I have lost one pants size (now a 6, yay!), but at my height I need to lose at least 15-17 lbs more for a healthy bodyfat %.

I really, really don't want to do a 2nd round!

My 2nd & 3rd rounds I never gained during loading (probably because I no longer eat grains or sugar by choice), so I don't have those pounds to add to my losses...and of course I always forget to factor that in, lol. But you're right. Like you, I am so much smaller. I'm a size 4 in skirts, and am wearing a 28 jean (from a 32), and have lost a lot of inches. So while it takes me longer to actually drop weight, I am smaller every round. I really just need to accept the fact that I'm not one of those who can lose 20+ lbs a round, even though the weight is there. (I'm 5'6" and started @ 184lbs and 41-34-45. I'm currently 153.8 and 36-27-39).

I'm just going to keep pushing forward and eventually I will get to my goal of 135.

Catlady, I feel your pain. Those are tough losses for a first round, but hang in there. I'm doing drops that I mix myself. I don't have any hunger issues, but sometimes I wonder if my drops are even working because my losses suck, lol. And yes, I've been in a stall for about 8 days. I'm also mid cycle and ovulating which always messes me up. Just hang in there because it really does work. The scale can really mess with your head, but it's the big picture we need to focus on. And we can do it!

That's exactly where I am in my cycle. After an apple day I'm down 2lbs but I'm expecting to put some on again tomorrow. It's a lot of water I'm sure, but it definitely helped my morale. Hang in there!

LOL, but you are sooooo tiny!!
My 14 YO daughter is very concerned that I can fit into her clothes now and she hates that...she hated when I was fat too! I don't fit her pants, but skirts and tops. She's beautiful and curvaceous and 113 (only 1/2" shorter than me). I'm just looking for a few more lbs for some cush. I'm quite amazed I've actually gotten below 119 because I never have as an adult...so slow or not, I'm THRILLED.

I've tried one fruit many times and it never showed a difference, and no melbas, no sweeteners, very careful about no oil, getting my water etc. Just my body apparently. But it's all so worth it. I think it's just that we have those "expectations". We most certainly are an instant gratification society...and that whole..."but others are doing better"...maybe, but so what...I'm doing great. And to people we haven't seen for a few months, it seems very dramatic!

stick with it, you will thank yourselves! Appreciate what is working and what is happening and allow more of the good .

    It's been slow, but well worth it!! I'm 5' 1.5" & 49.

I gotta pitch in here. I'm not here to brag. I have my slow days and stalls, but my loss averages to -.86/day which I am Sooooo not complaining about! But I honestly think it has to do with my beginning weight. I have soooooo much for the hcg to work with! As much as it will frustrate me I look forward to that last round where the hcg will have less of a target and my average will plummet. I expect the last 30 lbs to be one heck of an uphill battle. Numbers wise at my rate I should be done in another 2 rounds but I'm betting it will take 3 Oh well. That's just more time for me to learn healthy food management. I am not a believer that once you stop this diet you can eat "anything" you want. If I eat like I did before I'll be fat again. In the end, not withstanding food allergies, the bottom line it's calories absorbed vs. calories expended. I know All of you will get there one ounce at a time!

Wow, it's so great to hear about others losing at a slow rate! My losses are such yo-yo's that I get frustrated, especially with an over abundance of expectations. LOL! I thought I'd lose faster because I have so much to release. I'm only 5' tall and all this excess is in my stomach area... like Buddha belly. So I came here to get some encouragement and found it, thank you all!
What I find just totally bizarre is that I've lost almost as many inches as I have pounds... what's up with that? How can that be possible?!

I'm 4'11" and I'm losing (if you can call it that) at a horribly slow rate. In fact just bouncing around for a while now. What I eat doesn't seem to matter, no fruit, 2 fruits, higher protein etc the scale doesn't change. Dh says at least I know I'll stabilize with no problems. LOL

I'm changing from HHCG to HCG drops and I'll see if that makes a difference. I haven't had hunger and my energy is fantastic but I did get heart palpitations and weakness the other day which is typical if I'm eating starvation level calories, it shouldn't be like that with the HHCG if it's doing it's job. It was suggested I up my protein for now so that is what I'm doing. I'm just hoping to maintain this weight until my new drops come in then I will overlap them and get started on the HCG. I'd be happy to be average .5 a day sounds great right now LOL

wow! I've found my people!!!!! (hi poobears)
Is it a short thing? Seems like most of us that are losing slowly are short. I'm 5'0" and have lost 10lbs in 22 days in my first round. Week 1 I lost 5.?lbs, week 2 I lost about 2 lbs, and nothing in week 3. Not what I was expecting at all! If I was closer to goal like many of you, I could see that happening but at my height, I am still way overweight. I am so happy that I'm not alone. I truly felt like I was the only one.

Another slow loser. Slower this round. This is my 2nd round VLCD day 43. I had been losing an average of .5 a day. So far this round lost 20 pounds. Now that I am within 10 pounds of goal I seem to be in a stall for the past 3-4 days. I'n not skinny by any means so I still have fat left to lose. I'm trying to not be discouraged and to ride out the stall and hope it breaks.
