Your math is correct.

6000iu divided by 24ml = 250iu per ml

125 divided by 250 = .5 or 50 on your U-100 syringe

Glad you are getting to mix it yourself.

Your second vial should be fine stored in a back corner of your fridge till you need it next.

I just received the HCG from FEDEX. I have 2- 6000 iu's vials with 2- 6 ml of bacteriostatic water, also a 10 ml of bacteriostatic water; but there is a problem, I don't have a vial large enough to fit the 24 ml in, per your calculation in the above message. So, after doing a search on this forum I found confirmation on my question, "Can I use 12 ml instead of 24 ml of bacteriostatic water"? After finding my answer, I reduced the bacteriostatic water to 12 ml of bacteriostatic water and 6000 iu's of HCG to give me a dose of 125; which would be .25 cc on syringe.

I will be starting this diet in the morning.

You can do it, but I don't think its a good idea. You need the volume of the 1:4 mixture because that needle is long and you'll lose too much in it if you concentrate the mixture. That makes it hard to get accurate dosing.

I would wait for that sterile mixing vial that will accommodate 24ml.
(Or you could remove 6ml from a 30ml bottle of bac water, and mix in there with the remaining 24ml, and then transfer when your sterile glass vials come. You don't want to leave it in the plastic bac water container for long.)

As we are usually treating a fair number of patients at the same time, we prefer to use vials containing 5000 units.
With these the manufactures also supply 10 cc. of solvent. Of such a solution 0.25 cc. contain the 125 I.U., which is
the standard dose for all cases and which should never be exceeded. This small amount is awkward to handle
accurately (it requires an insulin syringe) and is wasteful, because there is a loss of solution in the nozzle of the
syringe and in the needle. We therefore prefer a higher dilution, which we prepare in the following way: The solvent
supplied is injected into the rubber-capped bottle containing the 5000 I.U . As these bottles are too small to hold
more solvent, we withdraw 5 cc., inject it into an empty rubber-capped bottle and add 5 cc. of normal saline to each
bottle. This gives us 10 cc. of solution in each bottle, and of this solution 0.5 cc. contains 125 I.U. This amount is
convenient to inject with an ordinary syringe.

So, can I reduce the bacteriostatic water to 12 ml, since I will be doing intramuscular injection of 125 (per your advice from an earlier message); that would be .25 cc on syringe correct?

And correct---if you use half the bacteriostatic water with the same amount HCG, the amount you draw into the syringe would be half as well.

I know its hard to wait when you are psyched up and ready to go, but its a good decision. Hopefully, your mixing vial will show up very soon.

You both guessed it right, I was definitely psyched up and ready to start!

But I held off until today, when I received my bacteriostatic water in the mail. It came in a 30 ml vial, which I removed 6 ml, leaving the remaining 24 ml.

As soon as I receive my glass vial in the mail, I will transfer the HCG from the plastic vial to the glass vial.

This is my 1st day of loading and I am so excited. I injected .50 cc intramuscular into my hip, which would be 125 dose.

I just received the glass vials in the mail and I am so upset. I had purchased 5 sterile amber vials of 30 ml from Amazon and 3 of the 5 were crushed. Luckily the other 2 were ok, so I just finished transferring the HCG mix from the plastic to the glass vial.

I take my hat off to you!... my turning point was at the end of 2010 at 240lbs.... i managed to lose some weight by the time I was introduced to HCG....but it never stuck and that is why I was so horrified when I saw my weight gain during the 2020 lockdown.... Thanks to HCG I did manage to lock in some losses ... but when I reached that 200 mark I freaked!! I just dont want to go back there again

Anyways....back in board loading as from Tomorrow
