Hi Deanna, I'm hopeful that the hhcg drops will be a better fit for you.

Also, glad to hear you have been able to clear up your skin condition and gotten off your meds. That is an excellent sign that your body has had some significant healing.

I'll be watching your thread in case you need some adjustment help. Wishing for you a smooth and uneventful round.

Well I had hunger issues day before yesterday slight hunger all day and towards late evening after taking my third dose, I became so hungry I cheated. It was horrible. So, yesterday I skipped the first and second dose of hhcg. I was not hungry throughout the day. So, after looking in the forum for answers, I found a discussion with Mrs. Strong and Leez. The discussion was over adjusting dosage with sublingual drops because of hunger. Well, I had the same situation that Mrs. Strong had. So, this morning I lowered my dose from ten drops to 7 drops, three times a day. Today was a good day! I just hope tomorrow is a good day too!

Hang in there. Stalls are normal, even up to 10 days. More if you are on an old setpoint. Your losses are great so far.

If you think your mental state will be improved by doing the apple day, then it will be helpful. In the sense that it increases the amount of weight you lose over the course of the round, it will be a wash. If the apple day seems to break the stall, it was about to break anyway. Dr. Simeons says it is for psychological value only so you can see the scale drop. That occurs from getting rid of some water prematurely.

Personally, though eating a bunch of apples can be appealing, I don't think it was worth not being able to drink anything all day. I did try an apple day early on in my rounds. Not being able to drink is miserable and would be especially so if you are in an area experiencing the current heat wave.. P2 is already stressful on your body. The apple day increases that stress.

Hope you do find it helpful. Its probably a good idea to do one at least once, so you can see if its worth it for you.

Yes, it was for a peace of mind doing the apple day. However, it didn’t break the stall…lol! I am 196 lbs.at this time. Only time will tell when the release will happen, I was somewhere between 196-198 lbs for a good year a few years ago. So maybe this is why the scale is not budging, as you mentioned in an above message about old set points. You are so right on with what you say!

The good part is, now you know how your body reacts to it.

It does seem like this could be a setpoint stall. Those can last 14 days. I had one that lasted 13. That was hard mentally, although not physically. In the end, my round loss was similar to other rounds that didn't have a super long stall. One consolation is that having a long stall during your round usually means a smooth P3. Those that don't have a stall or two often have problems in P3 as the water levels in your body tend to even out then instead before starting P3. So it makes it hard to tell if scale jumps in P3 are from food reactions or the natural settling that should have occurred in P2.
