Glad to heAR Deanna that you seem to have gotten correct dose! Would be so difficult, if not impossible to do these 500 cal days, day after day without the benefit of HCG! ! crossed it works!
Sounds too finicky for me

I am grateful that you share such important information. I know I don't type a lot on this site, responding to everyone like you and others do, it is because I live on a farm and my husband keeps me very busy. However, I do want you to know that I appreciate all that you share with me and others, you and Leez are a great help. Blessings to you both.

Thank you, I hope it works for me and everyone else. I just can't continue with having all this extra weight on me, it is dragging me down mentally and physically. Keep me in your prayers, I really do need them. Thanks for all the encouragement you give me. I wish I had more time to type and respond to everyone more often, but living on a farm there isn't much time for me to do this. I enjoy reading everything you write, you have encouraged me and so many others. Blessing to you.

Prayers for you Deanna! I love watching "farming" shows on tv, and I can see how much work there is , everyday. That's what I need, something to keep myself really busy right now. I have noticed already, just losing these 15 plus lbs, how much better my knee feels going up and down stairs. Carrying laundry up and down. I read every 10 lbs you lose takes off 40 lbs of pressure, stress on knees. That's huge, and one of the reasons I am determined to get this weight off. I'm at the age that health for good is primary, first goal--then comes vanity lbs.
Hang in there!![]()
Well I don’t know if I am going to make it, I feel like stopping and going into p3. Because I had hunger all day and I cheated big time. I will skip tomorrow and see what happens.

Deana....the beauty of being on the forum is that we are all different people, different personalities and we all experience the HCG journey differently, Some are here on their first ever rounds and for others it is repeat rounds... there is something to learn from everyone every day...regardless of new ways of doing protocol ... it is still just about the support.... you feel isolated and drowing in farm work, which is your survival....
All advice I can give is to take it just one day at a time... Dont look at your end goal... fair enough Keep it in mind... but break it down into smaller achievable goals.... dont beat yourself up... My ultimate goal is between 65 and 68 kgs (its 5am hare not doing the conversion ...its 2.2 pounds to a kg) and my aim is 10kgs per round.... anything over is a bonus... at some point in Time I started out at 109 kgs....and even though I managed to get to goal doing HCG.... I took my eye off the ball... and the weight slowly crept back up but I managed to never go back to Triple digits...and that is thanks to HCG...it can be done,... just persevere.... do it for you ... it will not always be easy.. remember the weight took years to pile on... be kind to yourself and take it one day at a time ***

Thank you, you are right. I just panic when things don’t go smoothly. It just seems like most everyone else in my family does not have health issues, who can eat whatever, whenever and be in perfect health with a fit and trim figure to boot. But I realize that I can never give up. I will keep on fighting to lose this weight, no matter what. Small goals like you said 20 lb loss each time I do a round sounds perfect. One day at a time...I just need to just breathe.. Thank God for this website, because without it I would not have gotten this far. I greatly appreciate your support and encouragement. To bad we don’t live closer because I would love to have you over for coffee, so we could just sit and chit chat. How much do you weigh now and what round are you on?
It is 7:52 AM my time and I am skipping my injection to see how the hunger goes and so far no hunger. Maybe I will get to continue another week, I will wait and see how evening hunger goes. On Valentine weekend we are going on a trip and will be gone 4 days. So, I will plan on stopping a week prior to leaving. So, I need to learn more about Phase 3, so I can prepare myself. Maybe you and Leez can refresh me and help answer these questions. Should I just continue the foods I am eating now on P2 and just increase the amounts to where I am getting at least 1200 calories a day? I remember I am supposed to avoid sugar, flour and starches. Do I avoid the fruits that we have been eating on P2 and replace with berries instead? Do I discontinue the Melba toast?

Hi Deanna
Just sit it out.... my mantra is simple... Stick to protocol.... the trust the process...
Your body knows what it had to do to keep you safe and healthy - do not beat yourself up
I am struggling on this round, but My body knows what it needs to do, I am doing extra exercise and thus burning extra Calories... once my inflammation settles, so will my weight drop....
Re P3...No starches and sugars, I did have fruits in P3 but I was very cautious not to overdo it....

Do not continue to eat P2 or try to gradually add calories. Eat everything you want except starches and added sugar, but if you wish to be cautious, wait to try nuts, dairy, eggs until after your first week when the scale can be volatile. You want to aim for a minimum of 1500 calories a day, but hunger and satisfaction signals should guide your intake, not calorie goals. Enjoy all fruits, but discontinue the melbas, since they are starchy. Most people do well on 2 fruits a day, but some tolerate more. Keep your foods simple and whole as much as possible. You can get into trouble by overdoing P3 desserts made with keto-type flours. Not because of the calories as much as it crowds out the more nutritional things.

My Journey
There are all kinds of theories out there that try to force low-carb or keto guidelines onto the instructions for P3. Beware of those traps. If you need help with identifying your hunger and satisfaction signals, this post may be helpful:

Thank you Leez for all the information, it is greatly appreciated. One more question, how long should I stay on P3 before going back to P2? I would like to lose another 20 lbs,
