Good luck on P3 Deanna. Will watch for your postings, if you feel like it. P3 can be a challenge, and would love to hear from you. Sorry it has been so difficult for you, with hunger. That would certainly make continuing difficult, if not impossible.

When I wrote that I was in a discouraging mood, the next day my mood was better, so I held off that next day with the injection and did a skip day. My results showed that I needed to lower my dosage. So I lowered it to 80 IU. Which I have been doing okay on so far. My weight is down to 187 lbs from 208 lbs. Thanks for all your encouragement, you are the best!

Thank you, Leez! I am trying so hard to do this; because if I fail, then my only hope would be a weightloss surgery of some kind and I really do not want that. With all of the good vibes from you and everyone and prayer I am finishing strong. I have got this.

    Deanna-Jane, you DO have this!
When I started my first round back in 2010, I weighed around 225 lbs. I was emotionally, physically and mentally overweight. Off and on through these years, I've landed comfortably around 170-175 (I'm 5'9, it looks okay )
That phrase, "it's a marathon, not a sprint" is a good one to keep in mind.
It may seem insurmountable and when it does, come here for support and encouragement.

    Very proud of you!

Thank you, Tracy for the words of encouragement, they are much appreciated.

I have started P3 today, because we will be leaving for Valentine weekend and it I has been over 30 days since being on the diet. So, I am ready to get started on maintaining. This is going to be an unknown journey, which I hope goes smoothly.

Yes it definitely feels better having this weight off! I can’t wait for round 3, so I can lose another 20 lbs. I am so glad we are doing this together, because I am going to need you and Leez during phase 3. For some reason I am afraid of phase 3. I really don’t want to mess this up for myself, especially with this immunity issue going on. If Leez had not of told me about the intramuscular injections I would have definitely failed phase 2 again. I have failed phase 2 a few times because I could never get the dosage right while being on subcutaneous injections or sublingual and I don’t ever recall completing Phase 3 faithfully because of a busy lifestyle. This phase 3 is just as serious in following as phase 2, and I know that now. I am older and so much wiser and because of that I am determined not to give up. We can do this Dubbles!!!

Deanna, I understand exactly where you are coming from. The more I read about P3/p4, the more I realize how very important it is. But we'll be ok. I know you are going out of town this weekend, but you can eat eggs, bacon or sausage--a big burger or chicken with a great salad for lunch, and maybe protein and veggies roasted and salad for dinner. I think the key is not to eat too little, but eat the right things. Enjoy your weekend! Which is possible on p3, very livable. I took my last dose before my planned interruption this morning. Landed at 85. Funny in this last 3 weigh-ins, I've lost -2.8 lbs. Really good losses, I keep thinking, should I just mix more and keep going, but I am ready for a break, and think it might help me prepare for a lasting p3 after I finish this interruption. So tomorrow, I will be vlc without hcg, but I need to remember, it is still there, I'm just not injecting right now. By Friday I'll be joining you, eating a little more with a little bit of fats. and for Valentine's Day will be able to have a steak and salad! I have had so little beef this round, twice I think. I miss it. You and DH have a fun, safe trip.

Deanna, how did your first day of P3 go? Dubbles gave you some good thoughts. I hope you can relax and enjoy these next three weeks. Its really pretty simple: eat whenever you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied, but avoid starch and added sugar. People get into trouble in P3 by setting calorie or macros goals, trying to combine P3 with other programs, staying on P2 foods, and too slowly ramping up calories instead of eating to hunger. When tempted to add some new rule, remind yourself that you can trust the protocol.

Here are a couple of posts that outline a good way to approach P3:
