Well, for one, the writer is wrong about ketosis. He writes it is a starvation diet and it is far from it since it involves huge amounts of fats and protein and veggies are allowed too. Ketosis also does not metabolize food into fat cells, on the contrary, in ketosis a body burns fat cells.

There is so much wrong with this article I don't know where to begin. But most importantly: the results of people here who have used it speak for themselves. You cannot lose weight and KEEP it off on a scam. You will regain all the fat lost unless you did indeed reset your hypothalamus. The reshaping most experience and the loss of fat in areas that normally don't go down also speak for itself.

Where did she get the bull that ketosis is bad? It depends on the kind of ketosis.... http://jackkruse.com/do-food-electro...uantum-effect/
Most paleo diets are highly ketogenic. I think they are missing huge parts of today's research.

As for HCG... I am still not sold on homeopathic myself, which is why I am doing Rx. There is no way I would survive on 500kcal if my body was not burning stored energy. And I believe that it is burning the right fat stores. The studies they quote were riddled with so many errors to begin with.

Quoting weight gain as a side effect is funny, though. And it would probably even be true - if you didn't reduce your caloric intake. Which is why it is so painful to cheat on HCG.

Then again, I read all the negative posts and pages before I started. I have stopped since... no use to discuss this, since the definition of "healthy food" is so ingrained in society, anyone who swerves from that path (including paleo) is considered insane. All I know is that personally, I will give paleo a try after and in between rounds, since I know from experience that carbs are the bane of my existence... the second I eat carbs, I binge and crave sugar, for example. No matter how "healthy" those carbs might be,

I had to laugh because this article reminds me of a political campaign. Lets diss the opponent to gain a vote! They are basically slamming hCG and then saying...but try THIS diet instead...you'll be glad you did!
I started taking hCG in mid October of last year. I have lost 71 lbs to date, never felt better, my doctors are astounded at the changes in my bloodwork, ailments have disappeared, I have NOTHING negative to say about it. I'd like to see that kind of testimonial about THEIR diet!

Oh for mercy's sake. What a bunch of idiots.

I guess they don't understand basic Pregnancy 101 biology? They say, "Prescription human chorionic gonadotropin is also an F.D.A.-approved fertility drug, and it is listed in the F.D.A. pregnancy category X. That means that if you take H.C.G. while pregnant, then your child is likely to have birth defects." Really? REALLLY? Tell that to EVERY SINGLE HUMAN FEMALE WHO HAS EVER BEEN PREGNANT in the history of genus homo. A woman literally makes MILLIONS of hCH iu's during a full-term pregnancy. What a bunch of fear-mongering and illogical articles on that page, anyway.

From parts of the article and most of the comments posted it seems they're all discussing the fradulant companies that are out there but mistaking them as indicative of the whole HCG community. I think there is truth to a lot of it but not if you are doing real HCG. I kinda laughed when they said people would have trouble walking after being exposed to HCG. I haven't had ANY issues with walking, thank you very much.

Also side effects......early puberty?? Do they really think kids 10 years old and under are taking HCG? Penis shrinking? It's called cold air people.

The penis shrinking I found funny, since body builders use hcg (albeit in massive ui) after a round of steroids, to make their testicles grow/ drop again... I'll be sure to measure any pensisses in my vicinity for possible shrinkage.

my question is that if the hcg is produced abundantly in pregnant women, why don't they lose weight? Not taking in consideration the growing fetus in their belly
