I'm sorry but I could not find where to post this. My Doctor has prescribed a natural fiber supplement (Benefiber) that is flavor and sugar free. I have been taking this for over a year to help with a lower GI issue. Can I still take this in P2? It is made from Wheat Dextrin and has less than 20 ppm of gluten.
Or, Is there a recommended fiber supplement to take in P2? Or should I not take anything?
Today is P2D3 and I have not taken any this week because I am not sure.

Gluten is not an issue on the protocol, since the menu allows for melba toast or grissini. Your fiber supplement should be fine since there is no food value.
If you want to try P2 without it, you might try increasing magnesium and vitamin C to whatever your tolerance level is to keep things moving. There is so little residue from the very low calorie diet that fiber supplements can actually cause issues rather than solve them during this time.
