Thread: Why LIW?

    Why LIW?

I'm wondering why the LIW is what we base our 2lb rule off of? I've continued to lose in the 72 hour period and would think we would go off of that. Can someone please explain. TIA!

Almost no one gets to keep the extra weight lost during the transition off HCG. But that extra weight loss does give you a cushion going into P3 that you will find very helpful in that first week. The influx of more food volume and fat can cause the scale to swing as your body adjusts. Without that extra cushion, some of us would be doing steak days after the first day of P3 eating.

If you decide to use your lowest transition weight as your LIW, you will likely fight to stay there the whole P3 and do many unnecessary steak days. There are a rare few that don't regain that weight, and if you turn out to be one of them, hurray. But its not very likely.
