    Hey is there any tea, other than sugar-free (diet) teas, that are off-protocol? My literature says you can drink any amount of tea you want and recommended Yerba Mate tea (whatever the heck that is), but does that include any variety of hot tea?

    I'm geographically and genderly challenged when it comes to tea. In this part of the world it's only regular iced tea. My wife has tons of different teas, but she doesn't know the protocol. I've had the Smooth Move tea, but we all know what that can do.

    Texican- yes any kind of tea. I would just be careful with those that have a lot of dried fruit specially the ones off protocol. Yerba mate is said to aid weightloss the same as green tea

    FIRST DAY W/ NO LOSS. VLCD10

    I KNOW I've had very LOW calorie intake the last couple of days. Could that be it? Just not hungry and very busy schedule. Ended up eating 'dinner' at like 10:00 because I thought I should get the cals/protein in. That couldn't have helped.
    Also had tomatoes twice yesterday? Who knows, we'll see what tomorrow brings.

    We had dinner and snack kinda late last night so I think I could have lost more if I would have eaten earlier. But not complaining cause hey 0.7 is good for me. Lost a total of 18.4 in 3 weeks.

    So yesterday when I was standing in line at the grocery store I saw one of the magazines that said lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks. I just laughed to myself cuase I am way past that. I did not even pick up the magazine like I usually would. HCG is so awesome.

    Keep up the good losses everyone. The stalls will pass.

    Ok so I'm kind of depressed this morning. I went up in weight yesterday +0.2, and today I was up again +0.4 lb! So upset about that! The only thing I did differently the last couple of days is started taking some supplements (potassium, magnesium, multi-vitamin, HCL). I not going to take them anymore and see if I start losing again. What makes me so mad is i've also been omitting either 1 or both of my fruits in the day along with my grissinis in trying to gain a bigger loss. So I'm not going to do that anymore either. Why deprive myself any longer if I don't get rewarded for it...Ugh! So frustrated! I really wanted to break the 130s by this weekend and just when I felt like I was about to break it I started going backwards. I guess I want so badly to try and control this diet and my results but i'm learning I really can't. Sorry I really needed to vent about this. I know if I consider my post-load weight my average daily weight loss comes to about 1 lb per day (which is pretty good), but I don't really think of that as my start weight since I gained so much in loading (5.40 lbs!). I'm really looking at how much i've lost since my pre-load start weight, which puts me at a loss of about 8.8 lbs in 14 VLCD days.

    allaire you're doing great. DON'T get discouraged. Don't forget that stalls are natural with this diet. If it last another two days do an apple day.

    8.8 pounds in two weeks is astounding!!! No other diet can to that. One thing I've noticed in myself is that, in spite of excellent losses, I have a nagging voice in my head telling me I should be losing faster or that I'm slowing and headed for a stall. Those are my emotions, but my rational side knows better.

    Look carefully at what your taking to make sure it doesn't have any hidden oils or sugars. My doctor even made me switch soaps because many of them have oils that will soak in through your skin.

    The veterans here can offer better advice than me, but I wan't you to know that your losses are really good. Keep up the good work.
