Yeah Tess! How close to P3 are you? I am happy (& sad) that we pushed my big dinner back a week, so I can now do the full 40 shots - so about 46 days total. Ohmyworditsgettinglong!!!! Big stall for TOM, so still only down 22ish in 35 days - did WAY better than that in round 1! Will keep you posted - 10 days to P3!

Hey all, been awhile. Back in P2 and on the subq injections this time. So far so good. Doesn't hurt, hunger not too bad (vlcd2) and dropped 2.2 this morning. I'll take that, especially since I didn't do a full out load.

Have fun in P3 tess! If you like pizza, do that egg/cheese crust off lindas low carb. YUMMMMY! My fav!

I got my recipe book out again. trying to change it up a bit. My new favs for P2 are chicken with franks sauce either with onions in or make a lil extra liquid and put over shredded lettuce. Mmmm Mmmm = but can't eat that every day, need a lil change so making shrimp n "rice" tonight.

    Happy losses and stablization all!

Hi ya'll! Long time, no see! Looks like everyone is still losing YAY!!! I'm so proud for all of you.

My son and I have both fallen off the wagon, so to speak, but are going to get serious again. I think where I messed up was not coming here everyday to be accountable. One cheat led to another, then another, etc. It's so much easier to cheat but the weight doesn't come off, does it? Back to protocol and back to posting a daily update. I know we can do it!

Thanks, Tex! I go, but I go slow! ha I see you're still making progress, that's excellent!

The best thing about this diet is watching my son. I think he was convinced that he was always going to be the fat kid at school. Now that he's lost 30 lbs he knows that is not gonna happen. It is soooo exciting!!!!!

Nothing worse than writing a gigantic post and then accidentally deleting before you put it on! Aargh...

    Questions:
    1) What did you eat in P3? I'm eating cheese, almonds, peanuts, cashews, baby spinach, ground buffalo, romaine lettuce, strawberries, eggs, bacon, pork chops and ABSOLUTELY NO STARCHES OR SUGARS. Is this right? Feel like I'm eating too much even though I've stayed within the 2-lb mark since I started P3 five days ago.

    2) Have a LowCarb Recipe book from back in the day and it has some fabulous recipes that I used to make. I'm a bit concerned when the end results have 16-18 carbs, although none from potatoes, rice, or wheat. Carbs from veggies are okay, right?

    3) LIW means the weight you read on the morning of your last day of actually taking hCG, right? NOT the weight you might reach during the last three days of the washout period, right? I ask because my LIW was 144.6. The next day I went to 144.1, the following day I went to 143.9 and the third day I dropped to 143.0. But 144.6 is the weight I use to stay within two pounds, right? Sorry, if this seems obvious; never done this before!

Okay, guys, hope to hear from someone soon. Thanks, Texican for the ideas on venison and elk. Don't know where to find them, but I'll do some research!

    Take care!

    One more thing...

Is cottage cheese okay? How 'bout protein powder for shakes? Just curious!

argacita - I ate pretty much all that in p3 except peanuts, it's a legume so technically not a p3 but if you're doing okay with it, I would keep eating it.

The LIW would be the weight the last day of your injections/drops - so ya the 144.6 - which gives you a little wiggle room since you dropped after that too.

Carbs from fruits/veggies are okay, as long as they are p3 fruits and veggies.

I'm down 1.2 today but really hungry. Ugh. Gonna do a skip day tomorrow and see how I feel. I'm more hungry today than yesterday, if that is even possible. Grrr. Might have to eat lunch really early today. Don't know that I can wait another hour and 15 mins.

Oh and cottage cheese in p3 is okay, I made a shake with that, milk and strawberries n stevia. Yumm. I also use body fortress protein powder sometimes and the cottage cheese and milk. Very good - tastes like a chocolate milkshake.
