Still seeing a loss which is good. I had shrimp on a bed of lettuce last night which was good. I hope that I can keep avoiding temptation. We have a food day today at work so I really have to stay away from the break room. You should see the stuff back there. I keep telling myself "Skinny will feel so much better than that tastes". Drinking my green tea with vanilla creme stevia. If really is yummy. I can see myself continuing to drink this after the diet.

lol to that this time a loaded with alot of protein like steaks and stuff like that which helps tremendously. when i fell off i fell off hard. went to a borthday party and didnt cheat it was so hardddddd. was very proud of myself that i didnt cheat next morning i get on the scale and gained .2 i was so pissed i just went to mcdonalds and pigged out lol. next time i will remember it could just be my period or water retention. although i am still having a hard time with constant salads and boring foods lol it seems for me no matter how you dress it up its still the same old boring food. although last night it was so hot i made a strawberry smoothie it rocked. but i guess loosing 7 pounds in 3 days is worth it. thanks for letting me know i am not alone
davprue--- how did you make your strawberry smoothie? I think you have to look at the big picture.. I feel the same way about the boring foods but everytime I see the scale go down, I am that much closer to my goal and it gives me the incentive not to cheat. Is this your first round?

My first round i dropped out on day twelve. I am considering this my first true go at it with a little more experience on what to expect lol. So far so good vlcd4 and down 9.4lbs. hopefully it will keep going like this. Yes i do have a hard time looking at the big picture, i think its cuz i have so far to go ugh anyway one day at a time right. ok so strawberry smoothie.
6 strawberries
2-3 cups of ice
stevia to taste
crush ice in blender til fine then add strawberries and 3-5tbsp water blend again til smooth. add stevia to taste. Mine filled a 20 glass and took 4 stevias. It was awesome though. tasted just like the ones you get at the orange julius place out here. Good luck make a great refreshing drink on a super hot day when all you can think about is ice cream or ice pops lol

I finally went to the bathroom. That is one thing I do not like about this diet. I agree one day at a time. It can be hard but we can do it. I am really feeling good and getting a lot of things done around the house. I am going to use these days to focus on cleaning up other parts of my life like my house,car etc. Have a great day!

I am on VLCD3 and yesterday was sooo much better. I didn't feel nausea or have a headache. I actually got a burst of energy last night and cleaned the house.
Today I was down 1.4 and my husband 1.8. So far so good!
We made the strawberry slush as well and added a generous squirt of lemon. It was very good! We also made some delicious lean bison steaks last night that we got at Costco. They were quite satisfying. For lunch I made a chicken and spinach soup with garlic and herbs. That filled me up nicely.
What are your most satisfying meals? Tonight we are having halibut which is a favorite of mine with asparagus.
Best of luck to all of us getting through the long weekend. I'm hoping my energy is up enough to get some exercise in this weekend. I am going crazy not working out, but haven't wanted to increase my appetite.
Hang in there mystified75. I have had a rough day. I waited to long to eat and felt really sick. It is so much easier to do this diet while I am at work. Day one of a four day vacation is almost over. One day at a time. I say this over and over in my head.
Okay vlcd3..down 2.8 with a total loss of 8.8 lbs....I'm so pyched now but I so want some popcorn really bad. My husband said this diet is too strict but I have never gotten results like I'm getting now so quickly. I am going to a baseball tournament out of town....how do I stay on track knowing that my family will be eating out in a restaurant. What do I do? Stay in the car and eat my food? ugggh!
