La.girl- I have yerba mate and like it pretty well. I didn't experience any increase in losses or noticeable appetite suppression. I am sure it affects everyone different though. It will keep you up at night if you are sensitive to caffeine after a certain time.

turtle- I researched planned interruptions and the gurus say they are for a minimum of 3-4 days. I read that if it was only one meal during P2 you should take one for the team and get back on track the next day knowing you may gain and/or stall for a few days. I stalled during this entire round so that won't really bother me. Gaining will but we'll have to wait and see. Not sure I will remain on P2 yet but one pair of pants are still snug and I know I'll regret not just getting that last 3-4 pounds off before ending this round. I feel completely different during this round compared to my last. I miss and crave good food but I don't feel like I am starving and losing muscle. I feel like I can exert control when I enter P3 which was the opposite experience as last time.

akrahulik- I now speak from experience when I say you can pull yourself back together and get to where you want to be no matter what you did yesterday. Or the month before. I am sure it was pms fighting it.

I also have Yerba Mate and like it, but like Twinma have not noticed much difference with that versus other teas. Drinking tea overall does help though!! Gives your mouth somehthing to do and fills you up. I even have my hubby in the habit of tea at night now!!

So, I am super late getting to this thread - but I just wanted to hop in and say hello. We must have had some major HCG energy going on May 9, because that was my start day after several months off and a through wandering from the path. I have, at this point, re-lost everything I had gained, but it seems so silly to have to do it over and over again. Hoping this sets me up for a grand finale and I wont ever have to look back! Hope everyone has great losses!!

Welcome Kati! Looking forward to "losing it" with you!
I am recovering from my bad day Sunday- still losing "old" weight- about 7 lbs and I will be in "new" territory. 15 to GOAL!! Feeling motivated, but strangely tired (TOM maybe? it has been an esp. brutual one). My hubby is going out of town tomorrow so I will be a single parent to our 3 girls until Sunday (ages 7,5 and 1). It will be easy to stay on protocol bc I will be so busy. I am going to skip pilates until he gets back. I went last night and felt good but I do get tired doing it on the 500 cals.
Twinma & La. Girl-- hope the scale was good to you this morning!!
    Have a great one

    Hi Kids!
Hope you dont mind me joining in here..I'm a R1'r so I guess Im something like HHCG R1P2D17 Im doing a 23 day round..and Im super super scared to go to P3. The foods look good, but Im scared about brining new foods into my comfortable P2 lifestyle. I do plan on doing another round, probably in late Sept. - and I hope to not have gained back what all my will power (that even I didnt know I had) has helped me lose. I like the suggestion of weekly menu's - I pre weighed and froze all my meats for P2 and it has worked out great! Any suggestions are welcome to help me go into P3 and P4. I will also start running again in P3 after the HCG is outta me - I have a 1/2 to do the end of this month, but Im thinking it will be more of a walk a thon, than an marathon my weight was more important than my time this year

Hello everyone ~ i hope everyone is doing well. I am in p3 and needing help! this is where things always get hard ....

Im having trouble stabilizing (once again) and I have it down to possibly 2 culprits :

    avocado

    or

    Mayonnaise??

does anyone have any idea if either of these cause weight fluctuations? I have been p2 only for the past 4 days with the addition of olive oil, avocado, and mayo (in chicken salad no sugar)

Any ideas on what it could be?

I am also having constipation issues but I am trying to resolve this with water, psyllium, and Natural Calm. any other tips are welcome

Could be the soy or eggs in the mayo. Avacado isn't supposed to be good for certain blood types if you've read anything about that. You are p3 right not p2? How much are you up?

Breakthru- What is your calorie count? Perhaps you aren't eating enough of your P2 stuff.

La.Girl- Great numbers you are posting there! Keep it up!

turtle- I just re-read your ticker and you have done an amazing job on HCG. How does it feel to have lost that much?

I decided to extend my P2 for a full 43 day round. I had another goose egg today so I will need that extra week to get this weight off. Very happy I am close.

Saturday will still be off-protocol dinner. I plan to have the three Mich Ultras, a small cut of prime rib (I know, holy salt), and a side salad. I may even bring my own MCT oil and red wine vinegar dressing.

How bad do you think this will mess me up? I'll have two more days of HCG then the 3 of VLCD so I am hoping the damage won't be too bad and affect my P3. We'll see.
