    Thank you!! I managed to get through the weekend without using a mini fridge successfully. I think my bigger issue now is not being able to cook. The mini market near my hotel is open until 10pm each night so I'm able to walk over before each meal and buy something. I'm happy to see too that the hotel will make special food for me. So I believe I can actually do this while traveling! I'm getting a slight headache now..I think this is normal though for day 3. I'll take some alleve...

    Up your water intake in a big bad way.

    Headache = gone

    Thanks Alcohol! Love that name by the way! I thought I drank a ton of water yesterday but I guess not enough.

    Today was another successful day. I got all my drops in and managed to stick to the plan. I don't have a scale to weigh myself but I can totally notice some thinning in my face. The puffiness is gone and my slight double chin seems to be shrinking. All good signs!! I'm going to keep chugging along!! I can't wait to find a scale soon...worst case I weigh in on December 1st when I return home and report back.

    I was a little jittery today at one point but that could also be that I'm under a lot of stress at work...wasn't sure but I felt a little "cracked out" if you know what I mean...like I had too much caffeine. Not sure if this is HCG related or not.

    Providing an update:
    I'm on day 11 now and have been doing low calorie days for 9. I had some pretty bad headaches on days 7 and 8 and I was popping Alleve like crazy. But the headaches are now gone and I feel great. Since I've been living in a hotel it's been a challenge to try to monitor calories but I've just been doing the best I can. I've had to eat out with co-workers a few times this past week at restaurants with set menus and am sure I was over the 500 calories but got right back on track on the next meal. Plus I've been trying to work out a couple of days a week to balance out the higher calorie days. I know this isn't ideal but I think it's working. My clothes are looser and my face is thinner.

    I go home in about 10 days on December 1st and am eager to see what the scale says! I'm curious to see how this diet works when you are flying blind for nearly 3 weeks with out a scale. It's interesting...each day I wake up thinking my tummy will be gone and I'll be skinny. Then I laugh and have to remember this isn't magic...it's dedication and hard work!

    I am having lowfat cottage cheese tonight and a sweet bell pepper from the mini-market next to the hotel. Yum!

    Cottage cheese isn't the best choice though. It's only allowed on occasion because it has as many carbs as a fruit. I wouldn't eat it myself. Peppers aren't on protocol either. Make sure you understand what you can and can't eat or you might be disappointed when you get home to a scale.
