Thread: Default to chicken for entire round?

Wink Default to chicken for entire round?

    Hello,

It seems that I default to chicken as my only protein for the duration of a round. I could add Trader Joe's 96% lean 4% fat ground beef if deemed to be a low enough fat content.

Thoughts? I do have a few different vegetables...chiefly, onions, celery and asparagus. And the apples.

I don't mind the boredom...just go into my "round zone" state and go the distance.

Any red flags with this regime? I do seem to have the almost .5 lb most days. Perhaps there is an aspect I am missing.

I truly appreciate and deeply value the time and attention the moderators give to this forum. You are the best

It seems to be working for you. You should be fine.

I've done most of my rounds with just chicken breast and tilapia filets. I don't think the repetition is harmful, especially since you are having continued progress. Sometimes a slowdown can be jump-started again by changing up your menu choices, but its not required.

American beef is not on protocol, so don't feel compelled to add it in. The fat percentage would need to be same as chicken breast which is about 98% fat free.
