    You might need a bit higher dose.

    Are you eating according to the Dr Simeons protocol? Have you checked your seasonings, etc for sugars and starches?

    Please help me. Okay. I started this round at 231. I am now 202.5. My goal is 170 (150 would be amazing, but hopefully I can get there through exercise.) Here are the facts. I have done this diet a few times, lost well and gained the same 30 pounds back over and over. It's so frustrating. I just got my thyroid problem addressed and am REALLY working to change my eating this time. I am a recovering sugar addict. I am mostly vegetarian and my partner and I are doing the cookbook and really going for that life style change. Here is the dilemma. My last injection is on the 5th. I will be so LUCKY to even get under 200. I was thinking of doing a 2-3 week break then fitting in 14 days of VLCD and conducting a "planned interruption" then finishing the round when I get back from New york. The problem is that I am going to eat carbs in NYC. I will also be in early p3. I am trying to avoid a diet disaster. Will the walking help me not gain if I walk 4 miles that day? Who knows. I thought of just giving myself "carb days, like the last two days or eating NYC pizza. It seems that in early p3, if I eat carbs, I gain 2-3 pounds no matter what. So I thought instead of going crazy the entire vacation, I could eat p3 (salmon, salads, then get my nyc pizza in and everything else) Not being a meat eater isn't as great in p3, because I have such limited options. I want to go shopping and doing the two weeks of the diet before I leave will help me get close to 185, which is just 15 pounds from my goal and could be great. I know that not doing the diet is smart and just doing a full round after is best. But NYC is A LOT of walking and I am less reactionary to my chronic gout when I am well under 200. So I am also trying to lose it for that, for the shopping etc.
    I want this to be my last round and I am worry about stabilizing. I know when one cycles, which is what this could be considered-ending on the 5th, starting 2 weeks later, doing planned interruption, then restarting. I really need to stabilize, which has been a huge problem in the past. What do you all think?

    Why don't you just wait with the next round till after New York? Such a short break, especially after numerous rounds, ain't good... and it would get you into P4 for NYC, right? That still means watching what you eat, but gives you a tad more leeway... You could even take HCG along, start doing that the last two days, and go crazy loading in NYC - if I calculate correctly and you have then taken a long-enough break.

    All the walking and the chronic gout is a huge concern.... At 200 I am still super reactionary, and when I have been down to 187, I was much better. Walking and too much exercise is a huge trigger, and wearing the wrong shoes (dress up shoes for broadway) could mean crutches for me. That would be horrible.

    I am just starting today but I had two quick questions I see that ornages are ok as a fruit but I have read other threads that you should stay away from them. I was going to have one apple and one ornage per day is that ok? The other questions is I normally do 20 minutes a day on the eliptical which is about 180 calories I burn. Do I need to add more food to make it back up to the 500 calories per day? Thanks

    Opinion Please!
    When initially started this diet, I didn't understand the importance of doing a longer cycle, so I had only planned for a 23 day round. I thought it would be great motiviation to do a short round (I can do anything for 3 weeks!), and then start again in a few months. Another reason is, we are having a family function that will make it difficult to stay on P2, and I didn't want to set myself up to fail. I know I am only a few days into this, but I think I would rather not stop at 23 days - I CAN DO THIS!

    SO - my 23rd day of VLCD would be 7/17. My family function is from 7/19-7/22. My initial plan (before completely understanding what I was doing), was to go back onto the plan after our trip (understanding I'd have to wait awhile to do so). I am now wondering if a Planned Interruption would be a better choice? I think I could do P3 foods while away - just not sure I can limit myself with P2 foods. Does that make sense?

    If a PI would be the best route - how do I do this? Do I continue with injections? Or stop and what day would I stop and then restart them? Would I eat P3 while not doing injections?

    Help please!
    I am back to trying hcg after not being on the forums the past year. Of course I come back and can no longer find links to buy RX hcg. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Or have a hhcg recommendation for me?

    Jewlz - I would worry about trying to stabilize eating carbs in Phase 3. You likely won't stabilize and will regain a fair chunk. To stabilize P3 really needs to be to the letter.. no added sugars or starches. I would also suggest waiting and doing a full round after the trip.


    DebLew - Some people do okay with oranges and some stall or gain. I tend to hit the strawberries pretty hard in Phase 2 because they are the lowest in sugar carbs of the 4 allowed fruits. If you are used to doing the elipitcal you should be able to continue it. You might need a bit more protein.


    Jill42 - I would to the PI. You stop injections but continue eating VLCD for 72 hours before you want to start Phase 3 eating. Then do at least 4 days of Phase 3 eating and you can go back on without reloading. Just start injections and VLCD the same day.

    I have finished my first round. I was on phase 2 for 15 days. Im eager to start my next round and hopefully make it last for at least 25 days. How long should i wait before i start?

    The 15 day round thing does not sound right. Are you sure? Minimum is 23 days ? You might want to ask Beth about that as allegedly your hypothalamus would not have been adequately rested on 15 days alone and this could also affect the way you stabilise....

    There is no 15-day round, The absolute minimum is 23 days, and everyone on the forums advises to do at least 30 days for better stabilization....

    No matter how short or long the round, it is at least 6 weeks of P3/P4 before going back. Since you were on it so shortly, you *could* treat this as an interruption and go back for the missing 15 days, depending how long ago you stopped taking HCG.
