    I don't think its enuff prot. to be called protein, you need 50 to 55 gms per day
    Its also not a vegie but soy with a lot of stuff you don't want
    freeze them and eat them in p4, is my advise See what beth says.

    It is neither when it comes to VLCD. I'm not even sure I've heard of vegetarians using them in P2. Soy protein is not the best thing to be putting in our bodies.

    VLCD? My mom did the diet and called the hotline for everything she had questions about eating. So why is the hotline telling her one thing and the website saying another? She had them alot and lost, but i guess i have to stick to the 5 things that are on this diet that i like. Cucumbers are getting realllllly boring. And plateauing at 233 pounds for 4 days in a row is not giving me alot of encouragement. (i use the sublingual drops if that makes a diff) oh is there a recipe book for people in p2?

    The hotline you mention must be for some specific clinic or website. The original protocol for this diet is from Dr Simeon's Pounds and Inches http://hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Simeon...and-Inches.htm Over time we have found some places who want you to purchase their products will try to modify foods, etc so that it makes the protocol seem more appealing. They aren't doing to correct protocol if it varies from the original.

    There is a Phase 2 section within this forum with recipes.

    This is my second round of HCG, I did a round before Thanksgiving for 21 days and lost 24 pounds. The second time I began loading the day after New Years. The day of loading I ended up in the ER that evening due to a gall bladder attack. I basically threw-up my loading food and the following morning I lost weight and needless to say still felt pretty bad so I did a poor job of loading the second day. I did take the drops and tried to eat, but ended up losing weight both days of my load. The next day I started the 500 calorie protocol, and it's been almost a week and while I am losing weight, I feel like I'm starving. I keep drinking water and tea and coffee to fill the void, but stomach is growling and I always feel hungry. I did not feel this way during the first round, so I'm wondering if the poor job of loading could be the cause of my hunger issue and would I sabotage myself if I tried loading again and restarting the plan. I still have about 50 pounds to lose and I really want the same success I had during my first round, but this time it just feels different. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

    The load could be part of it, but typically that would subside after the first few days. Are you taking drops from a bottle from your previous round or is it a fresh bottle?

    I have a lot of questions. I just recently started HcG probabely about 10 days ago. My sister, mine, and sisters birthday is coming up soon.
    First off My dad cooks steak sometimes for the beef, and I cut off the fat from it, is there anything he can season it with?
    Second off. I keep reading about rounds. I don't understand how a round works what do u do between each round I thought you were suppose to keep taken the pills untill you reached your goal, then start the clean up (P3) if you could make rounds more clearer for me... before i throw myself off a deep end
    Third like I said birthdays - my family tradition is to eat out, and its always outback or texas roadhouse. Is it okay if I go off the iet for that and go straight back into it the next day or is that dangerous because they've told me no dout bout it i need to follow tradition.
    I'm serverly overweight, and I'm looking to loose well over 100 pounds even more than that. But these rounds they don't make since to me..
    Also 500 cals a day? I count my calories and sometimes it happens to go a little over or a little under 500 sometimes by 100 and so on.

    First you would do well to read the protocol manuscript at http://hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Simeon...and-Inches.htm

    You can have 3.5 oz of lean steak at a serving. Seasonings need to be without sugars or starches.

    A round includes loading, days of VLCD (23 at a minimum) and 46 at a maximum), 2 to 3 days of offloading, 21 days of Phase 3 and 21 days of Phase 4. The days of VLCD are limited so that your body has a break from the toll that extremely low protein can take (it's very hard on the liver) and to allow your skin time to catch up.

    Because the hcg is in the body for 72 hours after a dose, it does not work to stop for a day here and there. You can find foods within the protocol to eat at someplace like Outback or Texas Roadhouse.

    I would try to stay below 500 calories a day of the protocol foods.

    It's hard to say really. With it being a fresh bottle, the hunger shouldn't be from the drops themselves. The decision to plow through or stop and reload is totally up to you. Round 2 is such a different critter compared to round 1. If you are truly feeling that you will question the loading issue the entire time, I'd suggest stopping for a week or so and trying again. At least then, if you run into hunger issues, you'll know you've loaded properly.

    I am on R1/PH2/DAY30 and have lost 23 pounds. I started at 227 and now am 204. My question is can I go a little longer than the 40 days. I did take injections while on tom and I have injected everyday on vcld. But I would like to go maybe 50 days? Is the extra 10 days going to help at all?? I am out of my first bottle of hcg and mixing new bottle today. So I don't want the extra to go to waste. Please if you have any advise. I did read all the protocol books and pounds and inches so I understand the info! I know the 40 days and then phase 3....... and so on..... But I would like to do a few more days and hope its not going to hurt and keep losing!
