I just take my drops 15-30 minutes before each meal that way they are pretty spaced out and I never forget when to take them or how many I've done

    Hi
I started Saturday. 2 load days of lots of fats, very little sugars and starches.
Then Monday was the first day of the 500cal diet.
Monday wasn't to bad but didn't eat much as was sick to my stomach, but Tuesday I missed most of work.
I was so dizzy, sick to my stomach and even threw up Tuesday morning, and a very very bad headache.
I could barely walk in a straight line or concentrate. I googled and it was hard to tell if it was just Ketosis or hypoglycemic attack.
After reading the book Pound and Inches, I decided try a spoon of sugar due to hypoglycemia. It helped a little for an half and hour or so... then everything came back.
I am taking the homeopathic pellets.
Today.... about 1pm the stomach cleared up, the dizziness later in the afternoon.
The headache is beyond terrible... I have tried everything from Advil, Tylenol, my migraine meds etc.
This evening my hunger came back with vengeance. I ate maybe 200 cals Monday.. and yesterday... about 100 cals.
I ate everything but my last fruit today. I am trying to save for later....
Will this dissipate? What should I be doing?
    Thanks for any advice.

    Hcg doesnt make you ill
are you , perhaps, ill, the flu etc? TAke your meds as you need to
no need to worry about ketosis, nothing to do with diet.

the first 3 days of vlcd are usually fairly... miserable for all of us. You are detoxing, make sure you drink 2 liters of water. not 4 or 5 liters, this will flush your electrolytes and you'll have to take pottasium and magnesium if that happens.
You need to eat at least all your protein, maybe make a soup with it, you mite feel better.
If you dont feel better by tomorrow, go on one of the nurses sites, ILuvKats, use the search bar above to find her.
sorry you dont fell well usually by day 3 or 4 we all have a lot of energy and the "bad " phase has passed.

I posted this elsewhere before I saw this thread - sorry for the duplicate.

My vial of rx hcg broke today. I was planning 40 days of injections. Considering how long it will take me to get more rx, I'm thinking of switching to hhcg since I can get it here on 2 business days. I will pass on them and order some online. My last injection was yesterday afternoon and I had taken 6 injection so far this round. I'm guessing it will be Saturday, if not Monday, before I can get my hands on anything "real". What do you reccomend doing diet wise in the interim? Also, when I get the hhcg, do I continue on as usual or do I need to load again??

Okay, so I did as suggested and skipped my shot today. Surprisingly this evening I had so much energy that I cleaned my kitchen top to bottom and haven't been so hungry. So tomorrow morning I will be dropping my dose to 20. The problem is my husband has been hungrier...does that mean I should probably up his by 5 to 30?

    Kansas and others,

I have asked question regarding keeping hcg cold with no access to fridge for 1 day. I come up with a new idea. Please comment if it will work or not. I have couple of Hydro Flask water bottles. I am thinking to store 2 pre-filled insulin syringes in the hydro flask water bottle filled with ice and cold water. Syringes will be placed inside a zip bag. Do you think this will work? Do you think it will create condensation inside and outside the syringe/zip bag?

When I did this diet last year I had to travel a long distance with them and just put them in a small cooler in a plastic bag and then put ice packs in with it. As far as I know it worked perfectly.

I'm sure that would work. Also, keep in mind that according to Dr. Simeons, "Once hCG is in solution it is far less stable. It may be kept at room-temperature for two to three days, but if the solution must be kept longer it should always be refrigerated."

You will be totally fine with that
Hint: when I travel like that I put the filled syringes in a plastic Tupperware cuz I'm afraid that jostling around will press down on the syringe, I KNOW IT HAS A CAP ON IT, I'm just paranoid that way Or I forget and drop it or something.
    good plan

Hi all, I was hoping one of the vets could weigh in on this...
Yesterday I left my HCG vial out of the fridge for about 10 hours. The kicker is that I left it in my bathroom, and I left the heater on in my bathroom...I usually just turn it on for a sec to warm the room up before I shower and then turn it off, but yesterday I forgot to turn it off. Yes, I was a total space cadet yesterday morning! ...Sooooo, the vial was not just sitting out of the fridge for 10 hours, it was sitting in a room that was probably around 70 degrees for 10 hours. At least it was wrapped in foil and the bathroom light was off, so it was not exposed to light. I know that hcg can sit out of the fridge at room temp for a few days, but I'm worried that 70 degrees is too warm. I'd hate to waste half a vial, but if y'all think it would be better to be safe than sorry and toss it, I will.
    Thanks!!!!!!
