    Hi tomorrow will be my VLCD3, i am taking HCG Injection 150iu now in first 2 loading day i am now hungry at all, don't wanna eat anything. but when start from VLCD i feel hungry since morning, after meal all day long. Should I skip one day but keep 500cal lower to 125iu? Is it too soon to lower to dose?

    Phase 3 - How can this be?

    As I move closer to my goal, I am mentally trying to prepare for P3 and to learn as much about how to stabilize as possible.

    Here's what I don't get:

    After doing lots of reading it seems that many, many people eat lots of food in P3, very high calorie and high fat. How are they able to do this and not gain? I really don't understand the physiological science of P3.

    I am very nervous to gain weight from eating again.

    too soon to skip- if you're still hungry on the morning of your 6th dose, skip that one and see how that affects your hunger.

    synthia- i think people push the high calorie thing too much in P3. but you don't want to limit calories, because you don't want to turn down your metabolism. many find they can eat quite a bit when not eating any sugar or starch.

    Hello!

    I am on day 36 (skipped 3 days during 1st TOM and went off protocol) and am almost at the end of HCG supply (prescribed trans-dermal cream). I won't be able to re-fill for awhile because I am abroad.

    This morning was my last "absorption" of the HCG cream and coincidentally my 2nd TOM came (a week early).

    My question is if I should go directly into the 72 hours non-HCG and then enter Phase 3 while halfway through my period.

    Yet after reading through this forum I am confused as some people say HCG is produced during the period, and some say it isn't.

    Do I have to extend the 72 hour time frame after my TOM ends completely? Are there still traces of HCG left even if I'm done with 72 hours but still on my period..

    I don't want to enter increased fat/calories/protein on Phase 3 if I still have traces of HCG in me.

    What's the purpose for not mixing vegetables? Like if I choose not to eat meat, I can't have 2 vegetables instead? I had a few radishes and some cucumber for dinner and that's supposed to not be ok.

    Hi there
    This is more of a concern than a question. I am on VLCD8 and have lost 10 lbs. Even with a little cheat this weekend (it was my bday) Otherwise have been following the protocol fairly closely and with no hunger. Last night i was laying in bed reading and i got a pain down my shin of my front leg and my foot began to tingle. I have some bruising and scratches from our 4 month old lab puppy. (Working on the no-jumping, but her training goes out the window when shes excited) Not sure what could case this and the tingling in my foot subsided after awhile but i have a slight pain in my shin still. its not hot to the touch. and doesnt hurt more or less with pressure. Is this bc of the diet?
    Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome

    you NEED to eat your meat, because you're already getting very little protein. we don't know why dr. s. did not allow mixing- possibly the interaction between certain foods.

    mlee- you don't have a choice, so yes- just transition to P3. Dr. S. said to stop the hcg during your period because he thought enough hcg was produced then- i believe that's now been shown to not be true.

    sm- can't imagine it's related to the diet, but make sure you're taking a potassium/magnesium supplement.

    I'm on day 5 of the VLCD and, for the first time, I'm hungry. I'm eating more than I'm supposed to, but I'm still eating vegetables and fruits that are included in the protocol and staying under 500 calories. How bad will this effect my weightloss?

    I'm taking Meridian Drops, 6 x 6 times a day. I have no clue what to change my dosage to.

    Thanks so much for your feedback! It definitely reassures me to continue on.. Now I'm unsure if it is TOM because I only spotted for 2 days.. my weight did go up .1 kg yesterday, and it's stalled for now... hmmm perhaps it is a very very light TOM..

    (posted this in another thread, but here goes! )

    I found out I have 2 more days of the HCG cream left but the lotion has been already exposed to oxygen.. It's in a vial that you turn 2 clicks and it dispenses exactly a dose out at a time.. I accidentally dispensed the last 2 days' worth yesterday. I hear how hormone creams like estrogen lose potency with exposure to air over time.. but unsure with HCG... I would try contacting my doctor but because of time difference and I usually begin my daily dose in a few hours..

    Should I just go into the 72 hour nonHCG period, or try 2 more days of this exposed cream..?

    I started P3 on Tuesday and I'm loving it! However, I am kind of confused as to what weight I am supposed to stay at since I lost 2 pounds the 2 days I did the VLCD without the HCG drops.

    So my question is, do I need to make sure I don't gain 2 lbs more than my last day of HCG drops or the last day of the VLCD?
