Will I never have a last round?

Round 1 lost 22 lbs in 38 days, R2 lost 20 lbs in 40 days. My last round I have split into to b/c the first half went so awful. R3a lost 8 lbs in 23 days, took a planned interruption for 2 wks and started back. I have gone longer than the 17 days that would've made 40 days, b/c I'm desperate to get this over with. Now I am 22 days into this part of the round and have lost only 7 more lbs. I stick to protocol foods, the original protocol. I drink at least 3 ltrs of water, plus tea and a cup of coffee. Don't eat the allowed breads. I could keep going right now, but found out that I need to stop now b/c of up unexpected trip and visitors coming in Feb, so that I can be in p4. I am so afraid that even if I do another round it will go like this one or worse. I really wanted to get to 115, but it seems that I can't even get to 125. I am 5"3' and not muscular, medium to small framed. Still have much visible fat. I know Dr. S's protocol works for most people and am thankful that I found it. I had given up and thought it was IMPOSSIBLE to ever get to my deep down inside goal, but when this worked like it did, it gave me hope and I thought I really could. Now I feel like I can't and maybe it is impossible for me. Anyone have any ideas?

    R1 lost 22 lbs (189.6 to 167.6) 38 day-ave loss of .57
    R2 lost 20 lbs (168.2 to 148.2) 40 day- average loss of .5
R3 lost 22.4 lbs (142.8 to 126.4) 46 days -ave loss of .48 added 1/2&1/2, half way through average dropped.
    R4 lost 8.8 lbs (132.8 to 124) 26 days (used 1/2&1/2) average loss .33
    R5 lost 10lbs (133.2 to 123.2) 34 days w/ PI and upped calories.LDW 123.2

Yes, you can! I, too, am 5'3" and my goal is 120. My first 40 day round I lost 25.5 and it went smoothly. This is my 2nd round and I am at day 29 with a loss of only 11 lbs, for various reasons. It has been a totally different round, emotionally, physically, and lifestyle upsets. I am still not too sure about the dosing since I am using a different brand. But it is working! The pounds are not coming off the same way, but the inches are still shrinking little by little. I may have to do one more round after stabilizing, but I will wait until I am sure my mind is ready.
Look at your stats. It is working for you! You are losing, and you can get to goal. Give yourself time. And keep in touch. We all here support you.
If I have it right, you have lost 62 lbs in 122 hcg days. Not bad at all!!!!!

Thanks, for the reminder and yes by those calculations I have averaged .5 losses. But this round I am at .3 average loss, I am staying in the same weight for 4-5 days, just losing and gaining .2s or .4s in the same number and then go to the next number and do the same thing. So not true stalls.

Did you cheat, or is it just slow on it's own? The second round is hard for almost everyone, mentally suprisingly hard. How long are you going to stay on?

Hello. you really are doing well...and remember the lower you go, the harder it is to lose too. I did great my first round....had a difficult second round, lost slowly...emotionally hard too. I waited 4.5 months and then did a third round, feeling much more emotionally ready to do it. It went really really well. So, my advice is finish the round, take a break, be glad for your accomplishments, and work at maintaining your losses. Then, when you are ready, come back and do a finishing round....I think you will find it easier to lose again after a break...I know I did. I was trying to get my BMI down to the 20.2 range, which is pretty thin. I was able to do it after the break.

I am assuming you have gotten rid of all of the usual suspects for slow weight loss....lotions, etc. And that you are not hungry, so your dose is OK...if these aren't true, then we need to talk about those too. Hang in there !

You're close to goal and that alone will slow your losses down. Hang in there! Taking a break like Kats suggested is a great idea. It will give your body and mind a break. Then you can start fresh to lose those last few pounds!

I tend to get caught up with acheiving and getting to goal ie finishing! I think I have accepted that HCG is going to be a tool and a process for the rest of my life. You will see that is starting another round to get rid of a stubborn 8 pounds recently gained. I also want to ask you to be kind and patient with yourself - there is no prize for getting to the goal any sooner. This is your life's journey so maybe your body is asking for some time to stabilize and get used to its new size. Just some thoughts. Sue

Turtle, The ones that have posted before me have stated a lot great and inspiring thoughts...very well ideas to consider!
I too feel like I am never going to have my "last" round to get to goal. I am on round 5! I do plan on going until I hit my goal, but you know what, that may or may not happen. I have to take it one day at a time. Look back at how far you have come! YOU have done GREAT!!! Just concentrate on the day at hand, the next day and the week, not down the road. (I have to keep telling that to myself as well! I have given up the "toast" on P2 and I am down now to taking 8 drops/3x a day...just to see if that will jump start my losses again...I am trying different things one day at a time...Just don't give up! You are a trooper! Go the round and stabilize, taking a break from this is not a bad thing. I finished my last P2 back in Sept. then finished out my P3&4 and then took a break during the holidays, it was great! It was good mentally for me when I got back on it again. Just remember, you are doing this for YOU! Your decisions are yours, we can all give advise and what has gone on with us, and hope that it will help you (or someone else out there). I wish you the very best and I think that you have done GREAT! (have I repeated myself?? haha, probably) God Bless! ttys!

turtle, tell me what you have been eating. It's possible you've developed a sensitivity to something. That happened to me last round with cabbage. Eating any likely culprits like shrimp, crab, lobster or strawberries?

The first part of the round I ate chicken, beef, a little fish here or there. Cucumbers, asperagus, spinach, tomatoes, and onions lettuce (once), cabbage(once) a grissini once and cheated once with a coke the end of my first week. This half I have stuck to beef and fish except had chicken twice. same vegetables except no cabbage, and only had tomatoes once, cucumbers twice and no onions. Sometimes milk or half and half in coffee, stopped for a while and my losses didn't get better. Have had eggs a few times and cottage cheese once a melba once. Drink yerba mate and green tea some. Have tried acv shots. Oh and my fruits are apples and grapefruit, strawberries once and an orange once.

Thank you ladies for all of your words of encouragement. It is just hard to believe that I can't lose weight, or hardly any weight on 500 cals a day or less. Tomorrow or Monday will be my ldw. Thanks again, y'all are great.

Your right, I might need to do a really long break, longer than the suggested breaks. I am about to see a bunch of people that I haven't seen since I started losing, and I really wanted to be completely be done. I think I need to be more accepting of my body, how it looks and how it works. Yes my hands are so dry, the dry winter air is killer on my sensitive skin, plus washing them so often b/c of all the bathroom trips, no lotions. No I'm not hungry. I was but lowered my dose and I'm ok, most of the time, am craving like crazy.
