    Shakes

Is there a list of approved shake powder? I have to travel during my round and I was hoping to do one shake and one meal. Is that allowed?

Some of our vegetarians have had good results with the Jay Robb eggwhite or whey protein powders.

    Some other protein options here:

Thank you. I saw a review by a vegetarian in the link you gave. She used
Ancient Nutrition chicken bone broth protein

Is that a good option too? I have a lot of joint pain so it seems like something handy to have around?

It sounds logical that something like that might be a good choice.

Personally, I would not use it unless it is organic. Otherwise the bones it's made from can contain pesticides, heavy metals and other toxins. Especially beef bone broth, which is all I see on their website. But my comfort level might be different than yours.

This is unrelated but I am hoping you can help me, you are so knowledgeable. I started my round Friday and realized my period is due Wed. I feel great, no cravings. Will I see ant repercussions from this?

Generally, its best to start your round right after your period, mainly so that you don't have to go through 2 of them during the round.

You may have a day or so of water retention that will show up on the scale as a zero loss or a gain, but it will pass. It won't affect your overall daily loss average. Some people will skip dosing on their heaviest day, but many do not. You can do whatever seems best to you. You may get some cravings, but you may not.

HCG is known to mess with your periods, so it may come at a different time, or progress differently. All of that is expected, so just go with the flow (so to speak...)
