How long before I start to loose?

How long before I will start to see weight drop? Day 2, 3 ,4.. If I can just look forward to that I think I can do this.. I just am so anxious to see the numbers moving.. That will be a huge motivator. Right now I am struggling just to get through Day 1~ UGGHH!! This is tough!

Today was VLCD1 for me too! I am struggling right along with you- trust me! I'm starving and could only drink HALF of the water we are supposed to drink per day today. I am SO EXCITED to find a couple people on here who are on the same VLCD as me! Makes me feel like I'm not alone. WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I am trying my hardest but just keep wanting to throw in the towel. i am frustrated by trying to find things to eat since it's so limited and I am not a huge meat eater. I got the Jay Robbins shake which is yummy and very filling, but I can't see eating one twice a day or even daily for that matter. My weakest point is in the morning..when I am really missing my coffee w/ sugar free creamer (maybe I could cheat with that and be ok?) and when I am prepping dinner for my family. That's the toughest. BUT it's also frustrating and upsetting when I feel my clothes getting tighter or the gobs of excess fat all over my body!! I just need to let that be the motivator!

I am on R2 of hcg and tried it before with ALOT of failure. But the round I just finished I did great. The first thing I wanted to tell you is the first week is always the hardest but you have to push through it and when the weight starts to fall off you'll be so encouraged the diet will become so much easier. Secondly, I highly advise you not to cheat. Easier said than done but from many experiences of starting hcg and cheating, you can lose control very easily and its so hard to gain back the control. Its so much easier to stick to the protocol. I'm not very good at these forums but I'm gonna try for some added encouragement to get through R2 but I would love for you to email me with any questions or motivation. I respond much quicker to those.

I cheated with the sugar free creamer my first round. It slowed me down 4 pounds from subsequent rounds when I didn't cheat. Just FYI.

The shakes are really good.. I got the Jay Robb vanilla and add water/ice and a few strawberries. Takes like a smoothie, fills you up and gives you lots of protien w/out the carbs or bad stuff. it's all natural so nothing artificial. I got mine from the Vitamin Shoppe. when I said I didnt' see myself drinking them every day, it was more in reference to getting tired of the same thing daily or 2x a day. But I am thinking it might be a regular staple for me while doing this diet because I really struggle with the meat part of it.

That's exactly how I felt and 20 lbs later I am so happy with sticking through it. It gets easier. By day 41 I didn't want to stop. I had to learn I couldn't expect too much... I had to be happy with .5 a day! The inches are what make the biggest difference. Hang in there!

The Jay Robb shakes totally made it easier. Try the 800 calorie protocol (look on FB)... That made it a little easier too
