Yalla love the post. It can be so true sometimes!

Today is VLCD 1 for me. I'm grateful to be done w/ loading. (im sure i'll be looking for some of that in a few days though!)
I took my injection at 7a.m. this morning, had my coffee & did my 30 minute workout. Its 10:30a.m. now. I am slightly hungry but nothing that a bottle of water cant take care of for another hour or so.

    Hi all!

Down .75 lb. today...total loss is 5.25 lbs. Today is vlcd5. Hanging in there and trying to keep on track! I'm a teacher and tomorrow I'm chaperoning prom and there is a banquet!!

Judy - we had identical losses yesterday. I was down 1.5 lbs as well which was much higher than I had hoped for. Woo hoo! I'm down 4.8 from my preload weight - I never know which weight to use either.

Mymiracle - I've done P2 rounds that are 23 days and P2 rounds that are 40 days in length depending on how much weight I want to lose. For P3 I keep with the protocol and try to stay within 2 lbs +or- for three weeks. It's my understanding that you are to stabilize during P3, not lose weight. I've never done back to back rounds before but I think you can with a P3 between. I can't recall how many weeks you need to stabilize on P3 before returning to a P2. It's either 3 or 6 weeks.

    Welcome all!

    Hi All:

Couldn't pop in yesterday, but I was down 1.5 yesterday morning and .5 today. I really hope I don't slow down already, as I'm only 8 full days in. Staying positive, though, and feeling good. One thing I've realized is that when I add up my fruits and proteins, I haven't been getting enough veggies and have been below 500 cals. I feel much better if I up the vegetables. The grissini is a bit dangerous for me--one never seems to satisfy and have to really resist eating another! All in all, I'm feeling really good and seem to have gotten past the initial headaches (which I always have).

Hope everyone is doing well today! Happy weekend!

That's a great start Judy! Is there a "typical" time frame when the slow down begins? I know its not the same but just average?

Today is VLCD2 for me. I weighed in - 3lbs from yesterday.

    Hi Lori:

I'm sure we're all different, but I seem to slow way down on about VLCD12 or so. The first week is always such a high and then...plop...down to 1/2# or less losses. I will say that when I average everything at the end of a round, the numbers look much better and always surprise me. I do find it hard when a stall happens, for sure. Right now, I've lost 9# in 7 VLC days--can't complain about that.

I'm trying hard not to beat myself up that I've already lost this same weight before. Just couldn't stabilize, and from reading Grammy's posts, it's because I did too short of a round.

Great loss today, by the way!! Looks like you're off and running!

    Hi all,

Today, I'm discouraged a bit. I have stuck very well to the eating plan and have been very active this past weekend setting up and taking down prom decorations, so I expected a big loss, but yesterday there was no change and this morning I gained 0.5 lb! I know plateaus happen, but they really hurt emotionally when they happen this early in the diet. Today is vlcd8 and I've lost 6 lbs., but I'm really not seeing any improvement yet, so motivation is important! I'm doing an apple day today and I hope this plateau will pass soon!

No expert here at all, but I thought it was only considered a plateau after 4 days? Have you been stuck for awhile?
6lbs is great so far. Maybe water retention?

    Hi guys,
I see that there are a couple doing a short round here. I'm in the last half of April accountability thread, but I'd like to post here too since I'll be doing a short round for the first time, and it would be cool to have others on the same track.

I loaded on April 25th, so I'm just on day 3 of VLC right now and as of this morning lost my #4 loading weight plus another half pound.

I've done 5 full rounds that took me to goal. I stabilized on several of them, but had two that I never achieved stabilization on. Trying a short round to see if it could work for me. I hope so. The prospect of another full round to lose weight I already lost once is depressing.

If anyone is interested in my rounds stats, I've posted them on my blog here.

On plateaus, I'm not much help. I've not experienced stalls any longer than a couple of days. But then, that might be because my scale registers in 5ths of a pound, so if I even lose .2, I take it as a loss.

    Looking forward to comparing notes!

Wow thanks for sharing Leez. Awesome job.

Today is VLCD 5. I am down 7.5 lbs.
Doing ok, not much hunger happening. Lil bit of cravings. Like I thought how tasty it would be if I could just lick a piece of chocolate but not eat it. LOL didn't do it don't worry. But it sounded yummy.
