Just one piece.
Just one piece.
I gave up the melba and breadsticks before the first week of my first round was out. All it did was make me crave more, and it didn't do a thing to help with being hungry. I just don't see the point to it, at all.
I gave up mine too. But what do you put tuna on to eat it? I have been craving some tuna salad on crackers and really wanting that melba toast.
That kind of presupposes that I eat tuna, which I don't. The only way I can ever eat tuna is with lots of mayo, diced dill pickles, some fresh dill, some chopped celery, a little chopped green onion, a hint of garlic, and something really strong to drink to flush the fishy taste out of my mouth after each bite. Like Drano.
There's two ways to look at this, valen.
On the one hand - no, you don't really _need_ something sweet. You certainly want something sweet, but there won't be blood and carnage if you don't have it. This is just a craving, and you're going to be getting a lot of those. Your body and your mind will throw them at you at odd times, in strange places, and give it the same weight it would a signal that a tiger was about to jump and eat your face. The more of them you beat into submission, the fewer you'll have to deal with in the future. If you reward it, you'll have more of them in the future.
On the other hand - if it's a choice between a full-on cheat trip to the vending machine and scarfing down a 3 Musketeers bar or having a small piece of sugar free candy, obviously the small piece is better and will do your diet less damage.
Rvalen,
Are you talking about Melba Rounds or Melba Toast? Melba rounds are about the size of a half dollar. Melba Toast is about the size of 1/2 piece of toasted bread with the crust cut off. Not much bigger but some. The protocol says you can have one melba toast twice daily...
1 is just a tease. I'm thinking I'll be dropping that from my plan as well. it will just make me want more.
I had one melba toast or two melba rounds. Yum. They helped me get down boring meals.... The grisini are my fave though.... I felt like I was cheating in an Italian resataurant, lol..... that's it, just pretend you are cheatingI always likes english toffee stevia on apples, tasted like caramel apple to me, or chocolate stevia on strawberries....
