    Anyone had tea ( with milk) and two teaspoon of oil on vlcd

    i am having 4 cups of tea with little milk
    and one teaspoon of oil in the morning chicken and one teaspoon of oil in evening chicken.
    has anyone done this ?

    what does it lead to ?
    i am on day 1 of VLCD.

    You can have up to one tablespoon whole milk per day on the protocol.

    Adding oil is not a good idea, and can inhibit the work of the HCG. Some people have been able to add a small amount of MCT or coconut oil and seem to do ok, but for others it causes stalls or gains, and could have an effect on your stabilization in the three weeks following HCG.

    There is a variation of the protocol (HCG 2.0), which some follow on this site. It allows you to add up to a tablespoon of oil, but would not allow you any milk (if I understand it correctly).

    When I first started using hcg years ago, I read so many accounts from people who had used oil (coconut oil was the big fad then and people claimed faster losses with it) and then been unable to stabilize in P3 that it never even occurred to me to try it. I despise every second of P2. I'd hate to suffer through that and then not even get to keep any weight loss. It wasn't worth the risk to me. You can try it and then if you regain all your weight in P3, you'll know it wasn't a good idea.
