    anyone tried jay robs protein shake?

    Anyone used Jay Rob's protein shakes?? I would like to find a protein shake that I can use from time to time for meal replacement. Please give me your advice

    I have had them before- not while doing hCG. They weren't bad. My favorite protein shakes are actually Carnation Instant Breakfasts that I doctor up. Instead of the milk- I use ice cubes and frozen fruit (strawberries and bananas) and often times I add in a little Vanilla Extract and then stick it in the blender for a minute or so. They are so good. Like drinking a milk shake. LOL I actually just freeze the entire banana in the skin/peel. Then pull one out and cut it into smaller pieces before throwing it into the blender. I use the frozen fruit to substitute for some or all of the ice, which I substitute for the milk.

    Yum! That does sound good!! Thank you! I just get burnt out on eating meat. I've never been a big meat eater.

    I just had one tonight...I bought packets to try...I'm not sure if I mixed wrong but I mixed with 12oz of water used the whey chocolate flavor. It looked like dirty water...lol. It was ok didn't taste too bad was manageable...I'm sure it would b much better if we could mix with milk.

    I HATE the taste of protein shakes. My grandma told me to substitute the water for ice and mix in a blender. Try that, maybe it would help?

    During P3 (and still in P4) I've used Jay Robb Whey Vanilla protein shakes: 1 scoop + 6 ounces of water + a handful of strawberries (or other fruit). Without adding fruit, it's too sweet for my taste.
    They are a really great way to get protein without a bunch of unwanted carbs, etc.

    Ditto what Kar just said - love the vanilla whey - I substituted one every so often in P2 when I couldn't face another chicken breast - one scoop with cup of water, handful of ice, 2 frozen strawberries - still lost weight -- but the shakes are not on protocol so proceed at your own risk!

    I have used them all three rounds and usiing them now on my third. I love the Vanilla the best. Do not use water and if you do use a little bit 9just to get it to blend). Use your strawberries, one tbsp milk, 8-10 ice cubes, truvia and some other kind of sweetner. I use 1.5 or even 2 scoops. Blend and it comes out thick. Sometimes I use apple chunks instead of strawberry and I add cocoa powder and stevia chocolate drops for a chocolatey taste. It tastes like a wendy's frosty. YUMM.

    Another great whey powder is designer whey. Its cheaper and tastes better in my opinion than Jay robb. It is also sweetened by stevia plant. It helps keep the cravings at bay. sometimes I put some of it in the freezer for a dessert during my TOM cravings.

    I have used them and love them. I'm not big into protein shakes but I like these. I am a chocolate lover all the way! I also put them in a blender, add ice, strawberries, and when I am not on the hcg I sometimes add a banana. Yummy!

    I mix a half of scoop of jayrobb with about 6 frozen strawberries and a handful of spinach....so good!
