Ugh. They stopped making a certain brand of HCG

    Hello all!

I love Ovidac brand HCG. Works the best for me w/o hunger and great energy levels. Looks like they no longer make it (Went through this same scenario with HUCOG). I don't want to try other brands until I hear from you people. Which brand works best for you?

    Thanks!

Is it that you aren't able to order it on your own? I thought those brands were made for women with fertility issues, and may still be available for that purpose.

If so, do you know any women who may want to see a doctor about getting pregnant, and pass the hcg on to you ?

All hCG is made for women with fertility issues. I repeat, *all* -- there is no hCG made for the express purpose of using it for the hCG protocol.

And if someone has told you otherwise -- that using hCG for weightloss purposes is 'standard' -- then they are a charlatan. We use hCG for weightloss purposes in a manner called, 'off-label use' -- in otherwords, non-standard (non-medical establishment approved) ways. It's not "illegal" to use it this way, but it is not standard protocol for any medical person to use hCG in the way we do.

There is no hCG on the market that is manufactured for use as a weightloss aid. I repeat, none. Its primary, and "established" purpose is to be used as a fertility drug for women to get pregnant.

ALL brands are made for women with fertility issues. All.

HUCOG is the generic label version of a popular (and expensive) hCG sold under a different name in the USA. It is the same hCG that fertility clinics use, as well as clinics dedicated to following the hCG protocol. The hCG protocol, in fact, was created so that you and I could use "that fertility drug" (hCG) for our weightloss.

Did you ever find an alternative to HUCOG and Ovidac?

The Zy brand is said to be the equivalent. But we cannot recommend any overseas product because of current legal restraints. Links to any such suppliers are prohibited on this forum and will be removed.

This policy is not to be mean or to protect our recommended suppliers, but to protect the forum from attacks and traffic hijacking that posting overseas pharma links brings. Some of the attacks have been pretty bad, with spam cleanup that can take days to resolve. We are still finding sneaky hidden links from the last such attack. These are not just advertising, but redirection links which are often not obvious, and you can end up on a shady site you didn't intend to visit.

Actually, I just checked.....it's still available for sale. Bharat Serum never stopped making it.

It's what I used for 4 rounds, safely, effectively, and the weight stayed off (along with my insanely high metabolism) for 6 years. Until I went on deployment to assist with Hurricane Michael recovery efforts, and perhaps (inadvertently) reset my set point.

I use the Simeons protocol and followed Grammy's (Colleen's) mixing protocol, with bacteriostatic water. No B12 (anyone who sells it that way should be regarded as a potential charlatan, be aware).

HUCOG is the generic brand name for Novarel, and they (Bharat Serum) sell it under their brand name (HUCOG)...but it's the same exact product sold under the name of Novarel in the US. FDA-inspected facilities.

To my knowledge, there are no FDA-licensed facilities in the US that have been approved to process and manufacture hCG. None at all. It is all made overseas and repackaged under brand names here. The FDA inspects these foreign facilities, as 'big pharma' wants to use them, so they're used. If there were not large corporate interests here in the US funding the overseas (usually in India) facilities, they would not exist. And to sell a product in the US that is made overseas, all 'big pharma' companies HAVE to have those overseas manufacturing facilities meet FDA regulations and perform FDA inspections.

I'd LOVE to hear more about the purported facilities that "manufacture hCG here on American soil" that I've been seeing posted here.

Because to my knowledge, there are no facilities on American soil that exist to process the raw material and turn it into the final product. There are facilities that INSPECT materials from overseas and then put their label on the processed product, but there are no such facilities to my knowledge that make hCG itself.

I'd love to be proven wrong.
