Thread: Weight Gain in P4 - Steak Day? High Protein Day?

  1. #1
I'm up a "almost" 2 lbs. (p4) and wonder if I should do something today to get the weight back down? If so, what would my best option be? This is my first round.

You can try a high protein day or just not worry about it until it's over 2 pounds. High protein works best if you eliminate cheese and eggs. You can lose with them but you'll lose more without them.

Personally, I would give it another day or 2 to see if it corrects itself. (I don't want to keep doing steak/protein days if you don't really have to)

My protein days seem to work well when I avoid the foods that have sodium in them. I've never done a actual steak day but I do think there's something to eating the steak. I had lean white meat for breakfast and lunch and a BIG sirloin steak for supper last night. I actually took a couple digestive enzymes because I was afraid it would never fully digest by morning! I was down .6 MORE than when I didn't eat a steak for supper!
