Today is day 7, skip day and I am down 7lbs the first week. Not bad and it's TOM so I think the first week was pretty successful. I ate some protien pancakes last night with some Waldens farm chocolate syrup and it upset my stomach badly. TMI lol. Anyone else have those issues?

So far, just fine. BUT -- I lost 90 lbs doing full 33-40 day rounds, POP. Now I just do one quick 2-week round whenever I need to in order to maintain. I learned that I did not like going long enough to need to do a full round. This feels less like a yo-yo. So what I'm doing now is a 2000 IU vial. In and out with less than 10 lbs. just to maintain. I usually end up with 12-13 days of HCG. Two go for the loadding days, one for the LDW day, and then 2 more VLCD days after that. So just about 2 weeks.

When I first started with HCG 5 years ago, I thought that if I just lost the weight, it would stay off, because I would have "reset." And some people may do that, and that's great, but I've learned for me, maintaining will always be an issue. I am always struggling with hormone balance and I have lots of foid sensitivities, so it is not as simple as just eating well. I do eat well almost all the time, but it is never enough. I'll eat something (or nothing that I can think of) and BAM! I have a gain I cannot explain. I'll do a steak day, but eventually, I get creep. I have a long history of weight issues, and really, nothing works for me as well as HCG, so that is how I choose to take off a few when I need to, before it is a lot.

The other thing is that I have a busy life and I find it difficult to schedule in rounds, so I would put them off, and then need to do a longer one, which is even harder to schedule in. I can almost always find 2 weeks to do one, though. And then I can continue my life pretty well on p3.

So I would not recommend a 2-week mini-round to anyone just starting out, but if you are at or near goal and just want to drop a little, give it a try, if you want. Some lose and maintain with a mini-round; some do not.
Ahh I see - very interesting. Thanks for explaining that.

I hear ya. We've all gotta do what we've gotta do to keep the weight off, even if it means coloring outside the lines. Heck, just being on HCG 2.0 plan, I suppose I color outside the lines myself. Gotta love the "rogue" forum!

As for me, I'm still only down 10 pounds. But I definitely feel like I've lost inches. You know it's bad when your yoga pants and your pajama pants are strangling you? That's where I was before I started my round! Now, they're all fitting properly again--some are even baggy. Woohoo! Now, to work on getting back into my old skinny jeans. THAT one may take awhile --LOL.

I was "bad". Had friends in town and although I ate little to no carbs, I ate far too many protein calories AND had 1 and 1/2 glasses of wine. I've not gained but stalled the last three days. So yah. That is the price I pay.

That's too bad. I can usually get away with wine, but I drink very dry reds and count the carbs.

So I have been lurking for awhile and thought I might chime in. I was basically looking for how others were doing on 2.0. I'll share my experience so far:

I have successfully done Simeons rounds in the past. I am on day 35 of 2.0. My weight has gone from 163 to 139 with no lengthy stalls in the round. 24lbs in 35 days!

So since its the Rogue Forum: I have been cooking with coconut oil and eating cocoa crack, about 2 TBSP per day. I have diet sodas, stevia, heavy cream and zero calorie Monsters, all with no ill effects. I eat riced cauliflower, spiraled zucchini and squash, sugar free salsa with nearly every meal, and an egg white omelet every morning. Oh yeah, I slather bath and body lotion on every day, no more dry skin during rounds for me.

This round has been markedly easier than my previous rounds, I am used to 11 plus day stalls on standard protocol. I plan to stay on this round until I hit 129.

I sincerely hope everyone is as successful at 2.0 as I have been. I definitely prefer it to standard protocol in every way!
